80% of these games look like a motion sickness simulator. I love VR but I can’t play so many games due to the motion sickness, and I wish more devs make games for people like me me
ОтветитьDid I blink when you mentioned "Ghosts of Tabor"? It's a game in a genre I want to get good at, but lack the willpower to push myself in to standing up and raising the heart rate. Maybe when I get a sweat proof face thing for the new Q3 I'll trust the process more, but until then there's loads of options listed almost mentioned too quickly for me to note down.
Edit to add a comment about "The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners" - I have it my Steam playtime is 20 minutes so I guess I don't do horror VR well at all. That was the Rift S days with the cable I could trip over or rip out when standing up. Now with the Q3, Virtual Desktop and a better router I can get wireless speeds between the headset and PC for PCVR wireless gaming at the same speed, which from my experience with Half Life: Alyx is bloody awesome. I just need to train myself to now remember I can turn on the spot when I need to instead of using the controller direction.
Also to note that there's a Steam VR Update in the works that will allow for hand tracking in games. I haven't yet tried it out and it's currently on Beta but it is coming and that will further the immersion of PCVR.
Garbage
ОтветитьOh wow, you add a lot of crap like population one but not add IL 2 Shturmovik and No Man Sky? That means you are not a VR person you are just hyping on VR news.
ОтветитьSo if you like VR, get a Quest and a PC. Steer very clear of PSVR2. Check.
ОтветитьThanks for including Lone Echo series. For me, they're among the best in VR, maybe only topped by Half-Life Alyx. It's difficult to put in words how good they are.
ОтветитьDCS World best Flight Sim of all Tbh
ОтветитьLone echo looks amazing, yet no PSVR2 release.
ОтветитьBlade and sorcery on nomad doesn't have the progression system yet
ОтветитьI guess racing games don't make the cut of VR titles. Not like it hasn't been one of the most admitted reason to get VR in the first place or a genre that has been supporting VR since the beginning. But whatever.
ОтветитьThis is by far the best VR game recommendations video I've seen, seen a lot of them they put me off from VR
ОтветитьHalf Life Alyx is incredible!
ОтветитьCan you do co-op non-adrenaline games? I really like games like walkabout minigolf and rooms of reality and am open to suggestions for this type of games.
ОтветитьMan I love my ghiosts of tabor
ОтветитьI just realized there are even some genres totally missing...
Experience & Travel: Brink Traveller, Google Earth VR
Sports Sim (if not in Workout genre): Eleven Table Tennis, Golf+, Walkabout Mini Golf, Racket Club, Thrill of Fight
Relaxing: Puzzling Places
Art: Vermillion - VR Painting
population one isn't free to play
ОтветитьPSVR2 Resident Evil 4Remake VR > Meta Quest RE4 VR and it's not even close.
Ответитьrhythm action a good one is metal hellsinger vr
ОтветитьDoes legendary tales have seated mode yet?
Ответитьbattle talent is a good roguelite
ОтветитьE
ОтветитьSo many of these games look dated. Still waiting for the graphics to level up before buying into VR again.
ОтветитьAnother great roguelike is Light Brigade
ОтветитьI just finished the (recently updated) Bulletstorm VR. Awesome VR conversion of a 2015 favorite.
Also add Star Wars: Squadrons to your list. It is X-Wing vs TIE Fighter 2020, with VR support. The multiplayer servers are dead but it's still a fun arcade-y space flight sim. (single player story and bot battles now)
Anyone looking for a kinda social and also satisfying game should try walkabout minigolf
ОтветитьMan. Meta Quest Stand-Alone headsets are really holding us back. All this stuff looks like it belongs back in 2010. Terrible.
ОтветитьCan't believe The Light Brigade was not part of the "Roguelikes" section
ОтветитьThis guy sounds like the guy from NotAnotherCookingShow. lol
Ответитьpopulation one is super fun
ОтветитьMh. I missed Skyrim. Yeah, its okd, but still THE VR-Game :p
And i was hoping for Deisim. Its a God-Sim and so cool.
All in all a top video of good VR-Titles. Thanks for the inspiration. I'll go to buy Demeon now. :)
I don't know why, but something inside me is deeply offended by these AI generated pictures. The thumbnail is definitely AI generated... I can tell because looking at it makes me sick
ОтветитьMonroe Island
ОтветитьDelbert Road
Ответитьits a crime that Ragnarock is not in the Rhythm section
ОтветитьNo Light Brigade? I got over 100 hours in that roguelike. My go-to shooter.
ОтветитьHELLA NICE VIDEO, THANK YOU <3
ОтветитьRumble is a great workout game
ОтветитьAnais River
ОтветитьLol u forgot the n1 VR tactical shooter, that actually has VRML support... ONWARD.
ОтветитьNo mention of No Man's Sky? Not very honorable of you 😁
ОтветитьLone Echo is my undisputed favourite also. I've never had a game shock me as much as this did, and I've gamed my entire life.
ОтветитьIts never on any lists but assetto corsa has a vr mode and its fantastic as the mod list huge
ОтветитьGreat video! You should mention Freeland in the list, as it’s launching soon!
ОтветитьWhat's with your accent? It's all over the place and sounds really strange.
ОтветитьIt's great how the Quest 3 can also just be used for pcvr.
Ответитьbonelab is a tech demo imho
and boring
and vertigo 2 was very boring
not fun for me
did not like red matter 2, too much slow and backtracking
