Since you asked... How to get in the Halloween/Fall vibe with only a week to spare:
-Go apple picking in the Hudson Valley. You don't have to have a car, just take the Metro North.
-If you've got some apples - or just juice - try making hard cider. All it takes is .75 cent package of yeast + sugar.
-Buy a pumpkin and roast the seeds.
-Visit a cemetery in Staten Island with your partner and keep repeating: "They're Coming to Get You, Barbara!"

Love the video, super cute work you're doing on the apt. Its always so much fun for me to watch people decorate their homes, legit live for it ngl. SIDE NOTE, lmao, I'm pretty sure we had a few of those shelves in my house growing up and I'm pretty sure it was way less than 100 when we bought it and it was like maybe early-ish 2000s or something? idk. But just thought it sucks thats what they were asking for it. 75 feels pretty solid for it though.

The apartment is coming together so well!. I love Remix Market - haven't been there in a while so this was a good reminder to go back and see what they have.
For the laundry - when I lived in a building with a coin-op laundry room I would go to the bank and buy a bunch of rolls of quarters. Kind of a pain but it was the only way I could make sure I had enough quarters.
