I think of the recent visit from the South African President. Trump pulled up all these videos and showed them, you know what the first thing I thought of? “Are these videos real or are they generated?”

For all we know, top level government officials are being blackmailed.

Our culture subsists on convenience because time is legitimately money. AI is a pandora's box of convenience which is why it will never slow down. Companies will never stop cutting time out of their budgets. Even if entire companies are downsized to one employee who pushes a big red button when the AI goes bad, they will do it. And they want you to help them implement it so that you can dig your own grave and get laid off.

The previous generaion of AI's could not maintain context over long periods. Being able to work for long periods without losing focus is a significant claim and definitely NOT a strange thing to say about AI. On the contrary, it is highly significant.

I have a friend, who told me that a guy she works with has a son who works in AI for a major computer company. The guys son is in therapy because he sees all the AI tech coming down the road. It's literal human replacement tech.

Goodbye history. You were always something I questioned a lot anyway. We will have to put in question all pictures and all videos as "evidence" for anything. The clever trick with AI videos is to slightly blur the image or have some blinding lights shining in to obscur the finer details. Soon, breaking news created by AI videos to will be too difficult to spot before it’s too late. And remember, it takes less than 15 minutes to launch nuclear weapons to end the world.

AI wouldnt be a problem if it wasnt for the rich trying to prematurely implement into society so they can exploit it as a form of free slave labor. As a tool it could be used for so much good and assisting us rather then replacing but leave it to capitalism

As an avid audiobook consumer, I absolutely hate an AI narration! Pronunciation is incorrect, syntax is screwed up, plus so much more including oral emphasis when needed. I recently tried to listen to one but couldn’t because AI repeatedly construed the word “no” to “number” 🙄

The next insane push will be to infiltrate the populace with lifelike androids 😳

The way Western countries are planning to use AI is so useless, mind numbing, dopamine inducing, and even dangerous. In the military they use AI to kill and in real life they use AI to create these fake humanistic sceanrios for consumption purposes. China is dfifferent, they will use AI to heal the humankind and bring peace to the world.

There should be a popup that warns you AI is involved and you can agree. Just like for Cookies.
