Sorry folks the F-35 has way too many problems for any country to only buy the f-35. The only good thing about it is its stealthiness. It cant even fly supersonic because if it does the wing edges and tail edges melt because of the stealth coating. The f-35s attack angle isnt high enough, only 20 % of all f-35s are combat ready at any one time because they are in the shop being repaired and on top of that the parts are scarce and very expensive. It is the most expensive air craft of that size in the world to fly. It can only carry 4 bombs in its Bombay. If it carries more on its wings it is no longer stealthy so there is no reason to fill your entire airforce with f-35s. I would recommend only buying 3to 5 of them but only for first strike purposes in order to take out enemy Sams and ground to air missiles so other planes that can carry a lot more weapons can fly in safely. the F-35 is way over priced and just not good enough to use as your entire Air Force. The New improved Super Hornet or the Dassault Raphal, Eurofighter, or new F-15EX or new F16ex. The Gripen 39 is a great plane and very maneuverable but it cant carry much of a payload but it is still a great little plane It can also land and refuse and re arm after landing on a highway.I would reccommend that all Airforces get a few of them. The worst thing any country could do would be to rely completely on the F-35. I would rather fill my AF with Gripens then F-35s. I would say like for example for the Swiss to buy 30 Gripens and only 5 F-35s. Or 30 Super Hornets or, Dassault Raphal or Euro fighters. Or the new f-15 ex or the new F-16 Ex.

I'm guessing a bulk of the planes I saw and heard would have been Tornados and possibly some Harriers.
