Came here from PWA 😁🇸🇲
ОтветитьI’ll be sharing the link with Pillole di Storia, a Biblioteca di Alessandria creation. Thx!
ОтветитьSketchy bread? Aha! That’s where Wonder Bread got the idea of facilitating the hyper supermarket chain of butterfly effects!
ОтветитьOops, that’s my bad! Who? Who, me? Who got the guns of waste management? Yup! That’s my bad … and … shall remain nameless, probably, only because, I don’t have a last name off the top of my head! THS Tigard, Or. Recycling Club!
ОтветитьYES! I WANT TO SEE MEDICI/BLASI 1320! Pretty please, with an in season fresh Royal Ann cherry on top! Thx!
ОтветитьMan you are Hilarious! I went to San Marino in the early 80's when I was posted to Italy. Great place for a young American Paratrooper ... never drew a sober breath. Good times.
ОтветитьHave never heard of this place. Want to visit now!
ОтветитьPlease do Guyana 🇬🇾 and the jonestown massacre. 🙏 And ❤️ From Kyiv
ОтветитьI would Ike to suggest Lesotho, Africa, as a focus of one of your descriptions.
ОтветитьEpoch times got me here!
Ответитьbraintax
ОтветитьI had to come here to see wtf is Putin talking about 😭
Ответитьsome of the pacific micro states are fascinating.....just saying
ОтветитьI traveled to San Marino on my last trip to Italy, and i have to say it was amazing. Such an amazing place and so cool to be at the top of everything and looking out over the landscape. Can´t wait to revisit it again
ОтветитьSan Marino and Andorra are two of the most beautiful places in the world
ОтветитьThe Epoch Times wrote an article on San Marino within the last few months. Before that I was unaware of the oldest Republic.
ОтветитьLincoln had dual citizenship, wow
ОтветитьI have always wanted postage stamps from San Marino as a teenager... Well, I've never been there. The closest encounter, was a really nice car with a San Marino license plate.. that was years ago in Southern France.. 🤣
ОтветитьSo you dropped the fact that the unemployment level is around 25%... So, how do people survive without jobs? I'm sure it's not like our horrible situation across the ocean of "no job = doom", but I'm genuinely curious about how their system works.
ОтветитьKingdom of Lesotho
ОтветитьBologna is actually a pretty good meat, tastes great. But I hate it so much. And we all know the reason why. That one, stupid reason. The. God. Damned. SPELLING!
ОтветитьI came here to see San Marino Not the talking head. Yes, you are VERY factual but couldn't you tell us while seeing this wonderful little country?
Ответитьa haven for the mafia
ОтветитьHow has no one made a movie about the Jewish sanctuary stuff, that’s mental!
ОтветитьOne of the darkest was at the San Marino GP, when Ayrton Senna lost his life while leading the F1 race
ОтветитьBuddy, I know this was 2 years ago, but no t-shirt or v-neck please.... beautiful bald head, lush beard, nerdy hot eyewear, and nice looking blue jacket on white/blue striped shirt almost ruined by gray undershirt...
ОтветитьThe bromance between San Marino and Abraham Lincoln is criminally underrated.
ОтветитьMy Little Pony? Nope. My Little Tony.
Oops. 😛
This may seem like an out of the blue comment but I dunno if I buy San Marino being founded in 301AD. Simply because during that time, the Roman Empire still existed & was still extremely powerful (and still Pagan). Emperor Diocletian had his best friend & “brother” Maximian ruling in Italy & I highly doubt they would’ve allowed an Independent Christian state to be sitting on the HOME province of Roman Italy. I understand Saint Marinus built up a small community there at that time but I really don’t think that’s possible to considered or claimed to be it’s founding. Plus if you wanna go further, in the reign of Emperor Justinian’s dream of reuniting Italy with the rest of the Empire, why would HE allow a tiny state within the very country he was trying to return to Roman rule to be independent?
ОтветитьI think it's hilarious yet somewhat endearing that Napoleon seemingly had a soft spot for micro states.
ОтветитьIf only this video were made after May 2021, then you would have had to mention Flo Rida representing San Marino at Eurovision too. Great video, been fascinated by San Marino and other European micro-states for a while
ОтветитьTel Aviv? Palestine is not part of Europe.
ОтветитьLove it. San Marino also has baseball. And they play in the italian liga, both top and secondary levels.
Their first tier team ranked near the top regualarly along with Grossetto, Bologna, and Paterno (Sicilia).
Italy has 50 pro and semi pro teams, 20 of which are girls teams of both softball and baseball. The level
of play at the top would be close to triple A in the USA. Also, my understanding from friends in the Grossetto organization is that San Marino is financed by the Vatican. Thanks for your histories.
Awesome video!
ОтветитьSaint Marino last words......."I leave you free from both men" emperor and pope
ОтветитьA very good presentation, your study of microstates and how they manged by stratagem or chance to avoid being absorbed into their neighbour, it also helped that they were simply not worth or important enough to occupy. If Bismarck hadn't forcibly unified the small German states there would be hundreds of microstates.
ОтветитьThis was thorough and lively. This is my go-to for info on San Marino from now on. I’ve always been fascinated by the microstates. Thanks, Simon.
ОтветитьHuh. I learned something today.
ОтветитьIdk where you get your unemployment numbers from but I only found around 5%
ОтветитьWhat a country! Wow!
ОтветитьWho’s here after San Marino won 1:0?
Ответить
