Great run! I'm training for my very first marathon and going for the Boston time myself!
One thing I've learned while running, and I wish somebody told me this YEARS ago, is that by practicing real deep breathing the entire run, and basically getting as much oxygen as effortlessly as possible, it helps me to pull off the pace that used to get me winded. Plus I feel like I can last longer during the run.
Another thing I learned is that it's one thing to run your goal pace in the first 10k or so, but it's a completely different battle after running 20 miles. So my goal is to do a long run but rehearse the last 5k at marathon pace, just to get a feel for what it's like. That way it's no surprise on race day.
I hope you do extremely well on race day!
