Red88Rex's Top 10 Chrono Cross Arrangements/Remixes

Hey guys, another game done, another countdown to do. When it comes to a game like Chrono Cross, it is best to be succinct: this game is a masterpiece, and I have no complaints about it. It is one of the finest J-RPGs I've ever played, and the soundtrack is in my top 3-5, depending on my mood the day I am asked. It has truly been a wonderful experience ever since I got it 15 years ago and I've only grown to love and cherish it more over the years.

Now, the music itself is some of the best to ever grace a video game console, but there are some remixes out there that I love. I actually know a lot of songs from this OST on guitar, and again I feel the same warmth and happiness toward them, as some of the first songs I ever learned to play were composed by Yasunori Mitsuda. I still keep them in my practice lineup years later, just because they are so pleasant. I did tab & learn a new one this time around (Guldove ~ Home World), so that was fun.

Something else I wanted to add...years ago, before I ever even thought I could ever learn to play guitar and was first getting heavily into video game music remixes, I came across this concert on here. It was probably around the time it was uploaded, which says 2007. I remember when I found all of this on Youtube, The Black Mages, OC Remix, etc...I finally felt like I wasn't alone in the world, that other people not only loved video game music, but they had a passion for RECREATING it. I still watch this concert every few years and I'm reminded of how wonderful life has been since then. Game music is REAL, it's a THING, and I am so grateful that others allowed me to see this world as I have grown into a person I never imagined possible! :)
