I've had my left Amygdala (and Hippocampus) removed due to a malignant brain tumor. Isn't the Amygdala responsible for our fight/flight response? 🧠💜
ОтветитьHey doc, can you please make a video on how to combat fear of Anasthesia. I'm someone who gets really anxious and I'm sure they are many people out there. Can you make a video explaining breathing exercises/techniques how to stay calm before surgery.
Btw love watching your videos, your very compassionate and kind.
Thanks Doc 😊
Doc is up early.
ОтветитьCan you talk about post emergent delirium and some common causes and what you have in your arsenal to combat (ha) it? I can't do midazolam or precedex and am starting to wonder what will happen if I have an emergency...
Ответитьthank you for your wonderful input to human health! My Qs: is Ganglion Stellatum comprised only by Sy fibers? Doesn’t it show anastomosing with PSy fibers from the Vagus? 2. In your practice , have you found that blocking the Sy has better effects than stimulating the Vagal structures ( if such a clear-cut division is possible in reality)? THANK YOU 🙏🙏
ОтветитьDoes it help to massage them regularly?
ОтветитьFascinating
ОтветитьIs there any research on this area for relief for PTSD?
ОтветитьWhy doesn't anyone tell you about this procedure. My fight flight response is constantly on and so is being on autopilot. Would love to talk to you about care and chronic pain. How do we get in touch with you
ОтветитьI feel I would benefit from this. I wish I knew about it sooner.
ОтветитьAs a generic office worker, I no longer need to fight or run away. Feel free to just remove that stuff when I'm on the operating table. Thanks in advance 🧠

ОтветитьWhich specialist would one have to go to for that? Neurologist?
ОтветитьBut the blocks are only temporary, not permanent. Marcaine only lasts a short time. ARE you saying that this block can train a person to relax?
ОтветитьSuper cool Dr.K!
ОтветитьI SEE YOUR CHEST HAIR DOCTOR ❤😱❤️🔥🥳🎉
ОтветитьWhat helps that Fight Flight Response when you are not around to block it?
ОтветитьThat's pretty cool I've seen it in horses it's big!!! Horses are flight or fight animals , neat to see it in humans
ОтветитьWhat?!?! I did not know this was a thing!!!
ОтветитьI would LOVE that!
ОтветитьIs it possible for that to be blocked more permanently besides having to take medicine for people with a lot of long term ptsd? Like is there such a procedure that could help that???
ОтветитьDoes it work for Ceraire malformation of the brain
ОтветитьI wish you had been my anasteoligist when I had my son via C-section a few years ago. The epidural actually WORE OFF and I begged to get more pain relief. I was denied, to the point where they cut into me when I wasn't totally numb... Good times.
ОтветитьJohn Q Public greatly appreciates your taking the time to share w/us all the marvels of human physiology. Thank you!
ОтветитьIs there something similar for anxiety?!!
ОтветитьEducation expands our nervous system.
One more reason to look forward to my hip replacement surgery next week. Seriously, at 73 it’s going to be a boost to untangle ptsd and open my horizons, thanks to Dr. Kavey’s amazing share: that when he numbs his patients at c6 satellite …
How do you numb nerves?
ОтветитьProtect this man at all cost
ОтветитьIs there help w severe depression anxiety ptsd n chronic neurological pain due to a spinal cord injury
ОтветитьIf I could numb this nerve I will heal my chronic illness.
ОтветитьCan I have some please?
ОтветитьWill it help with flight or fight response due to agoraphobia? I suffer so bad 😢
ОтветитьUnder what circumstances would you do this procedure?
ОтветитьYears ago when I was stupid, I had a guy shoot up heroin in my neck vein cuz my arm veins were hard to hit(not because they were gone, they were never used, just hard to hit, even doctors have a hard time) and he must've missed a little because I felt a sharp pain and then had this numbness in my neck down to my collarbone and whenever I would press on it, it felt numb like no feeling but then I would get a zapping pain like I was being shocked! Did I go to the doctor? No, I was stupid. Remember? 😂🤦🏽♀️. After about 1.5yrs of dealing with that it eventually went away. Literally thank God.. (I had him hit me in my neck veins because I could make them pop out so they were m easier to hit. It wasn't until I saw the shock on hardcore heroin users face when I told them I'd go in my neck vein that I realized how dangerous it was.. I was a dumb teen. Lucky to be alive especially since that's not the worse that's happened to me throughout my life. Don't do drugs!
ОтветитьDo u take insurance
ОтветитьHow many treatments are needed usually? And how often are treatments required?
Thank you for a possible reply.
