ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьI am the exact 1,000th liker of this video!
ОтветитьThanks I am a outfield and this will help
ОтветитьIf you're corner out field, remember that the ball will tend to tall towards the line.
Ответитьi’ve been playing summer league i see some balls but like i lose some i think it just happens we haven’t had practice so it sucks when i’m put out there and can’t see it
ОтветитьThis is a big help I play right field
ОтветитьI’m a softball player, and we don’t wear hats in the field. We do wear rip-it’s though. Would the hate truck still work with my rip-it?
ОтветитьAny right fielders here?
ОтветитьLove you vids

ОтветитьNow I'm craving a few beefy five layer burritos from Taco Bell!
ОтветитьMy yankee has no brim how am I supposed to get the tips
Ответитьzach?
Ответитьzach? is that you
ОтветитьI was taught to jump into stance for every pitch. Thought it was a waste of time and energy. Do animals in the kingdom jump, or do they get low and ready to run in any direction. Lol
ОтветитьI play 3rd basemen watching this😂
ОтветитьAs someone who both played and coached the game, your instructions are great to teach to kids. I loved playing in the outfield, particularly CF. I have many philosophies on how to be a better OF. You should study the game, a hitter's tendencies, who's pitching for your team, the wind, your other 2 OF's positioning, etc.. stay alert and mobile, watch the ball from pitcher's release/batter's swing. Your 1st natural reaction off of contact should be 2 steps back- that gets your bearings in place Never take any steps in right away. Never get on your heels- the ball will bounce around. Adjust to situations throughout the game, pitching changes, etc.. outfield is fun to play. Being able to react quickly and having sound instincts are 2 big keys into being a good OF!
Ответитьyo thats colorado springs, my hometown
ОтветитьThis video is brought to you by Taco Bell.... Live Mas....
ОтветитьCoach Justin, great tips. Would like to add a few. It starts with good vision. If you have trouble reading signs from a distance, you need corrective lenses. Challenge your friends in a car ride to reading street signs to see how your vision compares. If you're the worst in the car, you shouldn't be playing outfield. Second, you need different color sunglass lenses for the different weather conditions. In your video, that gray sky is difficult for picking up the ball. I have brown polarized lenses that make the ball pop for me on a gray day. Everyone is different, polarized lenses aren't for everyone. Third, first step based on first read, only left or right for alignment with the ball. First step is never in or back (unless the sound tells you to just turn and run to the wall). Second step on second read is now in or out. So many guys first steps are straight forward on crack of bat, now they have to stop and recover to move in another direction. I'd rather they not move at all than move forward. After a few steps you should be getting help from the other outfielders telling you to adjust further in or back on the ball. You should do the same for them. You make each other better. Finally, I like the ring finger and pinky together in that last finger slot in the glove for a strong closure.

ОтветитьI'm absolutely garbage at reading fly balls both in infield and outfield
ОтветитьThat “a god send” baseball notes ad had me dying I fr watched all of it 😂
ОтветитьThat looks like a prison behind him
ОтветитьI needed this to be a main left fielder
ОтветитьI am an outfielder and have trouble reading line drives. I can’t really tell if they are going to sail over my head or die early. Are there any tips/videos on how to tell if a line drive will be over your head?
ОтветитьThat last tip! Thank you
Ответитьi hate the outfield 😂 but i’m stuck there for my softball leauge
ОтветитьI’m a centerfielder

ОтветитьGood job, thank you!
ОтветитьAppreciate the video! Getting ready for softball
ОтветитьThat 3rd tip tho 💪🏽
ОтветитьAnother tip i have is when theres a ground ball sitting in the outfield, when i usually pick that ball up i pick up its surrounding grass to give me a better grip. Idk if i explained it correctly
ОтветитьUseful
ОтветитьBro you were my online coach for the past 5 yrs😂😂
ОтветитьI’m 63 years old, I played ball for 20 years and I only played 3rd, short and 1st because I could never judge a fly ball in the outfield with any confidence. If I had known the tip of the brim trick that would have been such a great help! Great tip!
ОтветитьI'm 13yrs old and I'm in softball fair Park preparatory academy and my game is Monday 9/18/2023 7th grade my name is Anya Ellis thank you for the advice
ОтветитьJesus Christ died for all of our sins. He died the death we all deserved. He was the perfect one who never sinned once, but he loved us so much he decided to die for us so our sins would be paid for and we can enter the Kingdom of Heaven before God the Father blamelessly. He is the living son of God who wants to know us and have a personal relationship with us. No matter what you have done no matter how far gone you think you are Jesus can and will save you. All you have to do is confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. Believe that he died on the cross for your sins and had a bodily resurrection 3 days later. We cannot be saved by our works but by faith in Christ alone. Repent and turn to Christ. You will have joy, happiness, love, and peace beyond understanding.
ОтветитьI never really took a firm stance, I stayed loose and ready to run, first steps are normally back but after years of playing outfield from little league to high school, you learn how to judge pitch placement, swing angles and ball trajectory off the bat to know where to go. Normally I was able to get multiple steps on the ball before the batter was done swinging.
ОтветитьWhen I play center I struggled in those gaps now I know ow what to do
Ответитьlol
ОтветитьI was not taught brim of the cap and I think it is a very good tip for young players. I will try it this spring.
