Victor, I live on the Cali/Mexican Border and have done so for almost 30 years now. I also lived in the Central Valley while on Active duty in the Navy at NAS Lemoore. I agree 110 % with you. But these are my observations. Too many Immigrants whether Mexican, Central or South American, don't want any part of assimilation into the US Culture. What they want is to sleep under the blanket of safety and handouts provided in the United States to immigrants as well as the free education, free medicine, while remaining very loyal to their home countries.
To be blunt, they wish to remain 100 % Mexican Nationals, Venezuelan, Columbian, etc. etc. while living in the United States, and suckling on the government Teet. To be candid, we have been played.
