AGRICOLA with FARMERS OF THE MOOR | 2 Player Playthrough | Medieval Farming in the 21st Century

Hi Pat & Glai great video once again. Thank you for this wonderfully clear and enjoyable playthrough. You guys seem like great gaming partners. I’m glad I managed to get hold of this expansion a while back. I do wonder: Farmers of the Moor has received some critizisim on horses being overpowered (not to take away from Glais victory there ✌️) , and sure enough there was a huge horse engine in this game. Do you think that it is possible to compete with someone who is going for horses heavily? What alternatives would to competing player have? Regardless keep up the wonderful work guys!

Great video! There were a couple of things I noted about the rules. Glai had 4 horses in the pasture but did not have a stable on that pasture. And Pat did not utilize his Master Workman when taking any of the Round 1, 2, 3 & 4 action card spaces.

I'm getting even more interested in Agricola seeing this expansion. Are there more expansions? Thanks for the playthrough!

Great playthrough guys ;). I really thought they would change the starting card that surrounds the house with terrain in this new version. It always seemed a bit unfair to me that it's the only one that doesn't let you expand your house without getting rid of the terrain first.

I like the expansion over the base game. The free actions and starting spaces on the player board are extremely helpful. Also I think it fixes a problem in the base game. In our games usually the first to build rooms gets extra workers (to get extra actions to run away with the game). But when you have to heat the extra rooms it’s less tempting to go down that strategy. Also bed rest for not heating isn’t as bad as begging. Great video, I miss playing.

May I suggest that you add some subtle thematic music to your videos? Some background farm sounds or medieval music would have been fantastic.

Man I want this expansion so bad... Been out of print for so long... It's criminal.

Waiting for my copy of Agricola, so I am watching you guys to wet my appetite. Watched both Agricola vids back to back and like the multiple camera angles. When I am watching a playthrough I like to get close to the board, you really do achieve this and coupled with the card zoom your production quality is excellent. Small request, I could'nt help but notice Through the Ages behind you, would you consider a playthrough of this one, I love this game, and there are not too many playthrough vids of this. I promise to watch right through to the end.

Great video!!! Just about to sit down with my wife and play Agricola (one of my favourite games) with the FotM expansion. I've been putting it off for a while. Seeing your video has given me the push I needed!!! ;-) We're huge Uwe fans (well, most of the time!! :-D)

Your Bake Bread action is not limited to only one grain, else there would be a "1x" on the card!
Sadly there was no use of Family Friendly Home or Basinet. Try to get more into Majors, they will help a lot!
