Madras High Court: Right to Privacy Is a Fundamental Right that Encompasses Spousal Privacy

I have mixed feelings on this. According to the Bible when you marry you become one, meaning what's his is hers and what's hers is his. If someone is cheating, then the other half should be allowed to do what she or he needs to do to discover it, that's why private investigators and shows like Cheaters exist and why many spouses share one social media profile.

On the other hand, if there has never ever been cheating and the spouse is being constantly falsely harassed and accused and controlled this way, then over-prying is not cool, but should still not be made illegal. The law and government should not be allowed to have too much overreach. If the marriage has reached this stage, then it's not a marriage anyway, not worth saving.
