This guy is just full of testosterone. Go figure.
ОтветитьLike Buzz Lightyear does, falling with style.
ОтветитьJeb Corliss: "I fly, bro"
No, mate. You fall. You can't land without a chute, and you cannot climb to gain altitude. It's a semi-controlled fall, but a fall nonetheless.
This guy is on the edge!
ОтветитьAwesome, Darwin wins, again and again and again and again! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
ОтветитьCorliss is so selfish, “waiting for a chopper” while someone may actually need a chopper from an actual accident.
ОтветитьThose rocks look really hard
Orville and Wilbur come to mind
I guess "ROCK ON ! "
There's a better way to fly, maybe not maximum adrenaline per unit time, but arguably more adrenaline per lifetime. And you can literally fly almost anywhere and go much much greater distances. I refer to weight shift trikes. For example YT search evolution trikes...to give but one example. But there are many variants including electric trikes and ultralights/microlights in general. The problems with wingsuiting other than high fatality rates (!) is the limitations of suitable areas, the hassles of getting into position, and especially the extreme brevity of the flying experience. With trikes and other ultralights one can gets hours of flying virtually every day - you could cover huge areas, fly across the USA for example or even around the world...
ОтветитьJeb corliss is kind of a inspiration to me.. I love the sport, and he is so passionate about it, through thick and thin, he stayed with the sport, he is ruthless, and he dont care about anything but doing what makes HIM HAPPY. I feel thats a big problem in our world today or with me at least. We all do things to please other people, yet we forget the most important person to please, and that being yourself. I may be rambling at this point but i want people to know if you want to REALLY do something but of scared of what other people think, just do it. Yourself comes before others and you dont have infinite lives unfortunatly. Live your life to the fullest and do the things you truly love to do. I hope everyone has a blessed day and many years to come. God bless
ОтветитьHow do these people afford to do this all year
Ответить"Like a caveman running from a dinosaur." Well, there were only about 60 million years in between the last dinosaur and the first caveman.
Ответитьdo you guys not get that being with that woman is bad luck. true guys from the same sport died while in a relationship her....
ОтветитьThis Chris McDugal fella looks an awful lot like the MMA fighter War Machine. I thought it was him in the thumbnail lol
ОтветитьDeadly "Sport"? I consider it a stunt, not a sport! You might as well call Russian Roulette a sport!
ОтветитьThey are called Exit Points for a reason.
Ответить⛰ ~ My problem is who is paying for all their medical bills? If they’re paying some kind of fee to cover the expense of all this then that is one thing. But if they’re just sticking the taxpayers with the price tag, that’s annoying. Any poor person can lead the services and the taxpayer Hass to pay instead, but when you’re doing something so unnecessary and so extremely risky, you have to pay for it.
ОтветитьThat woman has been married to 2 guys who died doing this. I think shes just dating them for a life insurance check.
ОтветитьThese people seem like they live a depressing existence when they are not fed their dopamine and adrenaline rush. That’s very sad, to have to risk your life just to be happy is very sad indeed. But it’s their life to live and choose I just hope these people don’t have kids Geesh
ОтветитьAre most of the casualties from people doing daredevil stunts?
ОтветитьYour reward to risk ratio is severely inverted 😅
ОтветитьSeems like a real death wish. If you don’t do anything else in life other than throwing yourself off a cliff, then you’re looking for an exit from life. Otherwise just addicts to a “sport” just for a high.
ОтветитьI say live your life the way you want to
ОтветитьProps to these courageous people
ОтветитьRed flag red flag red flag new dude sorry just a thought gotta wonder with that act
ОтветитьI wonder in that small swiss town who is paying for treating all this people injuries and to rescue them ? Also I can't even imagine how the villagers feel about all this nut jobs coming to their village in drows and landing in their yards and on their roofs .
ОтветитьI understand the rush, but this is utter stupidity. Humans should be intelligent and wise.
ОтветитьJeb Corliss seems like an exhausting person to talk to.
ОтветитьFeel sorry for their parents!
ОтветитьThe dumbest sport in the world.
ОтветитьThat lady is getting passed around that base jumping crew like a hot potato
ОтветитьA modern Icarus.
ОтветитьI'm currently 14 jumps away from having my skydiving license. With wingsuit in mind. As a new skydiver Every time i go up, it takes a lot and a lot of focus to leave the plane. But the answer as to why I'm doing this comes once I'm in the sky and wanting to go back up once back on the ground. The risks are real, but you will find the reason you keep going back in the skies.
ОтветитьIan needs to run away as fast as he can from the Black Widow!
Ответить"What was it that kept you from wingsuiting after seeing your husband get splattered while wingsuiting?" Umm..
ОтветитьWhat was it that kept you from wing suit flying after the person you loved most died tragically in a wing suit accident? Hmm. What could it be? That's a tough one.
Ответить"Caveman running from a dinosaur". Yeah, educated.
ОтветитьThey want a real rush!:? They should do popper while gliding down.
ОтветитьI didn't know flying was the most primal feeling. When were we able to do that? Also how is it comparable to a caveman running from a dinosaur?
ОтветитьConsidering only the death rate, this "sport" makes the Isle of Mann's Tourist Trophy motorcycle race look like a walk in the park.
Ответитьadmire the "courage" but have serious doubts about the role "reason" plays in their thinking. First item that strikes me as suspect is the description of what they are doing as "flying" when in fact it is controlled/prolonged falling. I see it as delayed impact mediated by the parachute. That's a big difference from "flying".
ОтветитьGo swimming with some sharks and then you can say it’s the deadliest sport!
The mountain will eat you, but it doesn’t know it wants to but doesn’t know it does. The shark will eat you and it knows it wants to. That’s the difference.
Not , ''I love flying"" but I love barely controled falling.
