Went a :53 from a push in practice and then held it. I could watch this stuff all day.

Katie really makes you rethink the limitations of women's swimming. Like, that's the fastest male distance swimmer in the world beside her, and she's holding her own. Granted, Finke is younger and you can tell he's not quite as polished in practice yet (there were some turns he clearly let go, and I'm sure being a collegiate athlete makes it a bit harder to be completely dialed in on every repeat), but wow. Simply inspiring.

Not sure what was going on with the lane assignments, though. Seems odd she was in that lane with the other ladies if lapping people was going to be a concern. But what do I know, maybe it's part of some grand design for their program.

It's just great to be able to see a few repeats in full.

Just think about how crazy it is that Ledecky can do the exact same practive with interval etc as the men's olympic champ in the 1500. She is beating an elite male college swimmer on every round. What the heck.

Queen Katie and Sir Bobby Finke have a brother and sister swim vibe going on. I love it!

I have watched this video at six or seven different times and each time my jaw drops at the set Katie L put down. You can’t help but be awestruck.
I am looking forward to seeing her at this year’s World Championships and going head to head with Ariarne Titmus. If they are both at the top of their games their races against each other will be epics for the ages.

How can this be? Ledecky average was only 2 sec slower than the Women's world record in 100 Free of 51.7sec? Is this in yards?

Ledecky's PB in 100 Free is 54 or 53 depending on short course or long course meters. How can she swim this in repeat intervals? This must be yards
