I tried to watch y’all’s video every day

I really hate the forced mobile ordering for quick service. It makes the quick service places feel like fast casual restaurants. Not only do I have to wait for a table but the mobile ordering at universal rarely works for me. So if I happen to go solo I risk losing my table if I get up to order at the counter. This is where I give disney the win when it comes to quick service and mobile ordering

Quick correction, the express pass does have Hicup’s Wing Gliders, it doesn’t have the flat ride Dragon Racer’s Rally.

My theory is that they'll eventually replace Tapu Tapu with facial detection + phone notifications but don't want to announce it before the tech is implemented. The queues at VB are not good enough for a 200 minute line in Summer heat. I know we'll be spending A LOT less money we normally do when waiting on a return time if we're stood in a physical line.

So you need to get an Epic Universe ticket and another ticket to get to Universal Studios??? That’s wild!

PARK TO PARK I thought Epic was an option in the park-to-park options as it is included in the multi-day multi-park tickets; however, the Epic entry is separate and valid for only one day.

They have banned smoking from the parks, so they have forfeited my money. As big as these parks are they can certainly find a few areas to designate for smoking.

U don’t order at a counter at minions u sit at the table and scan a QR code and order from ur phone and they bring the food to ur table

So basically, Helios is not worth staying at as there are really no perks. It's a bland hotel anyway for it being deluxe.

So, now that typhoon lagoon and blizzard beach are open at the same time again, can you do a video on if it's possible to go to both water parks in the same day? My family and I are going next year and I was hoping we could squeeze those parks into the same day, but I know the bus situation can be a bit odd

Can you take a shuttle to the Helios and use the entrance to Epic Universe if you are staying at another Universal resort?

No smoking sections have already made people smoke more everywhere throughout the park, bad idea to take them away. It’s just exacerbating the issue further, when before the smoking sections were completely out of the way of other guests. Now there’s no sections so the smoking has been everywhere.

Sucks that Disneyland Paris has smoking sections, so does Disneyland Tokyo, the Universal park in the UK will 100% have smoking sections but ofc we’re too Karen in the US. I love the US but we are such Karen’s about smoking compared to the rest of the world. Tokyo, Paris parks can all handle it but we can’t? Lame

As much as I love Uni, Disney has it won in the food department simply because of the forced mobile ordering with universal, it's kind of annoying how universal is becoming more and more phone dependent

Is the park like Disney in the way that, if you are in line before the park closes, you will probably be allowed on?

I highly recommend riding battle at the ministry and here’s how we got on quick. We got to the park SUPER EARLY at 6:30am (we were the first ones there). By the time they were ready to let us in we were right at the front of the ticket line. And as soon as you get in that park like right when it opens you RUNNNN to ministry. If you’re lucky you’ll only have to wait an hour. However , we waited 3 as it was delayed . 😂😅 Those are my tips just RUNNN there.

We went to EPIC Universe and the lands we got to experience were fantastic. Nintendo & Dark Universe were awesome. However the Battle at the Ministry is a different story. We queued when it was a 120 minute wait, but after an hour in-line the ride was delayed and delayed. People were cutting in line or 1 person would be holding the spot for 10 people. It was chaotic. We ended up waiting 4 hours. And it wasn’t worth waiting 4 hours.

man i got friends that are smokers and when i told them disney shanghai and universal beijing had smoking sections they just said how can a communist country be more free than here i just said east asians love smoking

Many year’s ago we visited Universal. Now we are going back because my grandson loves the How To Train Your Dragon franchise (so do we). But the issues we faced oh so many years ago still remain. Over-pricing, not much for the littles, and sub-standard crowd control.🙄

I paid $190 for a ticket then $230 for an express pass. ALL RIDES should be included if you ask me. That's a LOT of money for ONE day.

Expresspass doesn't count for ministry of magic. But what iff you have a universals version of daspass ?

So I’ve been a Disney girl for about two decades. For the first time last year, we had a Universal Studios vacation and absolutely absolutely loved it. Hopefully, we can go again soon soon. The only thing was that we just love Disney Springs that night. I feel like CityWalk is missing on the restaurant options. Do you know if they’re gonna add new things?

Hagrids motorbike is phenomenal. Ministry of magics line decor was better than the ride, imo.

A note for the Battle at the Ministry ride, it VERY often opens early. If you really want to do it, show up during EPA. It opened significantly early all three days for us this week (normally opens at 10am).

Removing the TapuTapu bands at Volcano Bay is a terrible idea imo. It's really the only reason I love this waterpark. Sad to say it, but I won't be going back after this change...

I wish they do discount or early park entry for disneyplus users. We dont stay at disney hotels, we stay at Embassy Suites

I just left a Grand Helios stay, and I was not impressed. While easy access was nice (other than lining up outside after a certain point as they shift to bridge), there were many things wrong. The beds were uncomfortable. The tech in the room went in and out such as ability to close drapes or even control tv. The lack of nearby food options when you arrive and not having a park day becomes an issue. Finally, the cost was 700 avg a night with discounts. That’s a high ask when it has all those cons and no express pass. Some got same room at same time at $450. I wouldn’t have felt as underwhelmed if it was that price.

So what are everyone’s thoughts of Helio’s and Express Pass once the “new” wears off? Do you think Helio’s will eventually offer Express Pass when bookings decline or do you think they will take Express Pass away from the other signature hotels? I know there was some kind of deal made between Loews and Universal in the beginning to get them to build the hotels with future parks being excluded from the pass offer beyond USO and IOA, but I don’t see it being worth the price of staying at Helio’s in the long run when you can stay at one of the other 3 and get the pass. I really hope they don’t take it away from the other hotels. People do still stay at Sapphire Falls without getting the pass, but it’s also a bit cheaper than the other 3 that offer the pass. Maybe Helio’s will fall more in line with Sapphire Falls prices rather than them taking the away the pass offer 🤞🏻.

Universal needs to have same backpack rules as Disney. Don’t like having to use a locker

I went opening day to epic. They don’t allow you to mobile order food if you don’t have a table inside because they don’t allow you to take any food to go at all.

Soooooo sad about tapu tapu! that was one of the best perks about choosing to go to Volcano Bay instead of other Orlando water parks!
