What I love about couples like this is their determination to make everything work and although they might have had lows like many people, they find a way out and up and forward. I worked for 20 years on renovation with my partner and I admit that it ended us because there was no end and every single weekend and holiday spent up scaffolding, digging the garden, unloading trucks and then doing my regular 12 hour day job was too much. I love it when it does work and both make it work. I don't regret stepping away personally as it took a tremendous toll on my body that I am still paying for today after 28 years. It's a huge committment and today I get to watch all you lovely home renovators from my armchair ! God bless.
