Idc, this seems bs to me. Rose's story felt unfinished in the last game, imo even after the dlc. But that's just my opinion. They'll probably never touch it again. But why does Grace look like Rose somehow?

Like at the end of the village, they time skipped but mentioned nothing about what happened to Rose's mom, Mia. It just felt like there were unanswered questions.

If I'm honest, I only got into the franchise at games 7 and 8 because I liked the story of both. Plus, 8 felt easy to play. I like an easy game where I can enjoy the story, get through it, and not be frustrated. I ended up getting the first game to try it, hated it. Cause I'd miss shots, couldn't figure out what to do and couldn't enjoy it due to my frustrations. If it had the RE 8 play style, maybe I could enjoy it more. I absolutely understand that ps1 and ps2 era games had highly different mechanics, but I don't have to like them. My biggest hopes is that this will play like the mechanics of 8 so I can get into this one, if not, I'm not interested. A game doesn't need to be so difficult that you can't even progress and finish the story on your own.

Already editing cause I read a comment that this is linked to RE Outbreak 1 & 2? I don't know the story of those two unfortunately.

We really need to wait a few more years till some real people that has played the video games first and comprehend the story .

Last it should be more wise to make a series from than nonsense movies that will lead to nowhere ( we already saw the result with Mila Jovovich only the first two movies were decent because they had materials from the video games zombies, lickers, infected dogs, nemesis , etc... )

This feels like a mix between 2 and 7 in the atmosphere and setting and so far I love it. 8 had some great action and I get what they were going for, but it wasn't scary enough for me. Here's hoping this one is a more balanced mix of action and horror, or if they lean more towards survival horror like 7 that would be awesome too.

In Resident Evil 9 we're going back to Raccoon City. I have some possible theories about Resident Evil 9:
What if the zombies and bioweapons in Raccoon City are still alive and evolved over time?
What if this new villain revived the tyrants Mr X and Nemesis? Or found some Tyrants and activated them?
What if the survivors who were kil by the missile become enemies? Carlos did say there were still people in the city before the missile strike

R.e 9 will be a failed game that only pleases passive gamers. The success of R.e 7 is a huge shadow and an endless source of inspiration for producers around the world. A game with outdated technology should not have too many characters, and the characters should not have faces. Japan has a rich culture of masks and imagination about monsters. If it were me, I would set R.E 10 in Japan, focus on monster development like The Suffering, focus on gameplay, cities and architecture...In this day and age, if you don't strive for authenticity and artistic beauty, you'll fall to the bottom with the old-fashioned. Enjoy the freedom of speech.

The beginning looked liked a whole movie film. Now imagine the graphics in the next couple of years of gaming… hopefully we all make it to see the day of how gaming is going to change the way we see movie films & eliminating CGi out of The film industry. Not interested as no Leon and Jill. Atleast I was expecting Leon in this. Would want to play all of them, Leon, Chris, Jill, Claire and Ada, in a single RE game now; and if not all, then atleast Leon, otherwise my interest will go now.
