Maybe Madame Jhené, is saved by a different organization. That they gave variances to. To advance and turn into weapons. That’s why they go to Spain. This is going to be tough. If she spread of those things across the world. It might even fall to the next generations. To deal with it. Hopefully Carol, and Dixon. Or able to inform the settlements back home. I always thought that the injection the walkers get shot with makes their blood pump around their bodies that’s why their veins show up and that’s why they become fast because they have warm blood pumping just like humans but it’s still dead and decaying still

I think it'd be cool to learn that the primrose team were bio-weapons researchers who created the first version of the wildfire virus.

It could put the whole "you started this" into context and set up the viruses creators as a new group of antagonists. It would also explain why france was the last to fall, why would you use a bio-weapon against your own country?

I wonder if these fast walkers deteriorate much more quickly than regular ones so they're continuing the experiments to try and create the perfect weaponised walker that's badass and and won't fall aprt within a few months? Previously, the scientists were no doubt trying to find a cure / vaccine / treatment but got it way wrong and ended up with the burners as well as the fast walkers. It's a little confusing at this point.

As for the Laurent cure theory, i doubt he's the cure because 1, it would be a rip-off of Last of Us and 2, if thats the case, any baby born after the apocalypse should have the cure because their blood could somewhat mutate along with the virus already dormant in the parent but i could be very wrong im no scientist after all😅

I think there are connections in these plots, but while I think your answers are probably more reasonable I'd like to push forward my theory.
We don't have a timeline for the World beyond post credit scene, there's not nessicarily a reason that it couldn't happen after the Daryl show. Something II've been thinking about since the show came out is the idea of intro storytelling, Dead City shows us the fall of new york, Daryl shows us ominous red smoke filling the streets of Paris. I think that smoke was an actual weapon, an early attempt at combating the virus which lead to the creation of the Burners through unknown means (which would help inforce the interest in American imports, as it would be "untainted" stock).

Following from this attempt they landed on the "short circuiting the brain" idea, which was potentially promising enough that multiple team members took the procedure as some kind of vaccine, however it had the consequence of making the aggressive variants after death in some instances, which I imagine lead to the downfall of the Lab.

Fast forward to now, and I suggest the idea that the Daryl show is in some capacity about "you made it worse". Were seeing Genet working with the same sciensts to re-engineer these fast walkers and they'll get out of control and cause a second apocalypse for the few survivors, leading to the sweeping jailing.

Now I think it's likely this is all untrue, though I do think its cool, and you can certainly punch some holes but its good food for thought.

Its weird to me it seems nobody thought of as a team holing up in a sturdy building on say the 3rd floor of a skyscraper or solid brick type building with lots of supplies(food, water)and lots of ammo and sitting there for a year just killing zombies with sniper rifles, explosives, and various other forms of hands off distance types of weaponry until there are none left.
Can herd them in from other areas with helicopters(and loud noise like speakers to draw them along), do resupplies to the buildings with the choppers.
Could even take down an entire city of zombies, then build walls or heavy fortifications around the safe areas until theres no zombies in the area, then move to another city and do the same.
Have survivors move into the safe areas, and slowly expand until theres no zombies left.
Could take years but i bet it could be done with good organization and solid no risk plans.

I believe the walkers in France are some how have all become too far altered to accurately experiment on as the walkers evolve over time but perhaps a retro altered wildfire virus was released in France early on in attempt to combat the reanimation process but in stead created what we see today hence that's why they have to go to America or far off locations where the retro virus hasn't had an effect giving them the perfect fresh template to test on and see how it can alter an walker

Something i wanna see from the walkers is them using weapons, armor, Strategy and gear. An idea of zombies doing this was the bases for days gone 2.

TWDexplained theory is that Genet is making these variants so she can attack America with them that's why she collected them from America

the defective darts that make the walkers attack other walkers would be really useful in hoards and i think that is how they will be used

I believe that the virus is an organism found deep in the earth probably from a meteor that crash landed and the scientists started to experiment with it then found out that it could be use to revive the dead that why they went to ohio to reveal their research, but then some people from out side the lab found out what they had and tried to steal it for their own research but a test tube broke somehow and the virus got into the air and being so virulent spread like a wild fire 🔥😂

The French did something the Americans couldn't do, they restored their circulatory system.
In the episode where Daryl ended up in the arena, you can see them inject the walker with this serum, after which his eyes turn black and his veins with arteries inflate.
This shows that they were able to restore the heartbeat and on top of that they turned their blood into acid, which is why his eyes were turning black.

Or it could have been clotted blood with a ph. acid reaction.

If they succeeded in doing that, I don't know what could be the contraindications to inventing a drug or other way for people not to be resuscitated by the French and Violet's team.
