A rally game releasing without force feedback on wheel support seems like quite a large feature that should be implemented in a game before releasing that's like releasing say a football game without a football haha

So as far as I’m aware, Wrc 10 and Wrc generations are the same game but generations has more stuff added. Is this true? I want to buy but don’t want to buy Wrc 10 if all that content is on generations?

Snow rally: Where in earth you find 10m wide countryside roads that you see in WRC series? Nowhere. That's one - and a big - reason why dirt rally franchise is better and more gravitating to Rally enthusiasts.

"The Simple fact that 99% of players Never been near a Rally car let along Driven one" So True I am so tired of these Nerds criticizing every Sim out here as not a real sim, Even Assetto Corsa & Project Cars aren't considered Sims by Many, I remember back in the day when IRacing hired a Real Race Driver to tune their Driving Physics to be more realistic, after the Changes the Nerds cried saying it's becoming Arcady, In the end They switched back to the old unrealistic twitchy physics to please them.

And no GT sport / 7 is NOT a Real Driving Sim

Winter tires can get you some pretty powerful grip on snow and ice these days. The studs on those things are absolutely, hilariously large. I also find it annoying how fast tires wear out in these games.

Gotta give credit to the graphics in dirt 2.0 however wrc is so much fun with its diverse stages and dynamic weather and official cars. I have both and i always find myself playing wrc more

the only person ive ever seen recommend WRC over Dirt 2.0, i'll definitely try WRC but you kinda lost me a tad when you called Argentina and Sweden tedious, theyre the best locations to play, none stop sideways action

Have not yet got too play WRC 10, have not played a WRC game since perhaps PS2 era? Or early ps3 era.
But Dirt Rally 1 and 2.0 is good for me, but 2.0? Lacks content, cars? You go through fast and maps & stages too.
And how many cars that was in Dirt rally 1 is buyable with real money in Dirt Rally 2.0 and maps too, that sucka so when Dirt Rally 3 comes out?
I hope more maps and stages, cars too.

I like both games.
But I don't feel the same adrenaline rush in wrc 10.
Anyone who comes from the dirt Rally 2.0 to the wrc 10 seems that even with our eyes closed we play.
It's too easy compared to the Dirt Rally 2.0
If you want an easier and perhaps more fun game to spend time choose wrc 10.
Want a game to improve day after day, learn the difficult mechanics, see what is a real and difficult simulator, choose dirt Rally 2.0

Dirt Rally 2 is the best & only racing game I've loved & if I could have one thing changed, I'd add a Toyota Cellica

The true answer is “both has their pros and cons. Get both and enjoy!”

I tried Dirt Rally 2.0 multiple times with years inbetween but the driving never felt intuitive. Feels like im just swaying over the course with barely any control over the car, and many of the cars are super sensitive with their throttle. Add to that the many stage designs I just found to be frustrating (Wales, Snow Stages) rather than Fun.

WRC9 and WRC10, when you dial the wheel setup right, feels super intuitive for me. After a couple of hours I was already throwing the cars through the corners. Is it less realistic because it is too easy to control the cars? Maybe. Do I care? No. I never driven a rally car anyways, so It doesnt matter to me if one game is more realistic than the other. If its not fun, I dont want to play it, that goes for simulations as much as arcade games for me.

Add to that the super cool team management of the career mode and the sublime Stage Design of WRC9 and 10, and I have a personal winner!

They all look absolutely dire, they look like 2009 games, compare this to stuff like forza, its in a different world, such a shame these rally franchises are so behind

I'd choose WRC any day for a simple fact that Dirt is distributed by EA. I'd never give any money to EA.

I'm just going to try both games lol , I've been close to rally cars in reality it's not something you will forget and you go deaf 😂 I so wanted a go in one but I'm quite big and tall and I won't lie I'd of probably died lol extremely fast.

VR is becoming less and less of a Niche these days but more to the point there are many of us who has switched and just cannot face going back which rules out all WRC games for us, sad but true. :(

DIrt Rally 2.0 in VR offcourse. If you are not playing it in VR, then you are doing it wrong.

Both are fun but since WRC gets the stage design so much better than DR2 that if you’re trying to decide in Jan’23 I’d go with WRC, though the last Generations game can’t seem to get the handbrake right so if want to save some cash try 8,9,10

Abit late but its good that there are multiple games for rally, unlike formula 1. Lets be grateful.

With Codemasters doing WRC games moving forward I guess Dirt Rally 2.0 would be the more ideal game to get a feel on
