Really enjoyed the producer taking this chance to car talk his studio equipment. There was however a time in the middle when he kept reiterating it's being transferred to digital from tapes into pickups and that knob turning 🤦🏾‍♂️its was great after that though.

How they synchronizing PC audio workstation with tape?
I mean, they constantly re-recording back&forth, how do they mark beginning of record?
Is it done automatically?

Before this video, the Tascam reel recorder was going for about $300 on the used market. After this video, they skyrocketed to $1500+. I had a chance to get one for around $500 after seeing this the first time back when it was posted, and thought it was too expensive so I passed lol
