God bless you and channel ❤
Oh, lovely.. as always. ☦️💜🎵💜☦️
ОтветитьTo think that we pray and sing this hymn with the angels is a lovely thought.
☦️💜🎵🎵🎵💜☦️
This was the hymn that did it for me. The first time I ever attended Divine Liturgy. It was the moment I "knew" deep in my soul that the Orthodox Church is Christ's body. I can't even put into words the intense deeply comforting feeling that I experienced during the trisagion. 🙏🏻☦️
ОтветитьThere is a lovely Orthodox children's book called AND NICHOLAS SANG! about this lovely story. According to some traditions, he reposed not too long after that. ☦️🎵☦️🎵☦️
ОтветитьLove it! It's very similar in the Catholic faith to the end of the Devine Mercy Chaplet given to us by Jesus thru St. Faustina with saying Holy God, Holy mighty one, Holy immortal one, have mercy on us ❤
ОтветитьWhy cant i subscribe to you?
Your production and music is spot on! As always, the content hits deeply. What a pleasure to watch and be edified by.
Ответить☦️🙏 glory to thee our God Glory to thee ☦️ 🙏
ОтветитьIsaiah 6:3 One of my all-time favorite Bible verses! Love the possible connection. And love hearing the Trisagion sung in Greek and recently heard it sang in Slavonic and it was just lovely.
Love your presentation, as always❤💛❤️✝️☦️✝️
Theres an appalachian version of this thats super beautiful. This accompanied by the bowing was the final thing to break my jw upbringing. This is a hymn that just feels holy deep down.
Great vid.
I call it the "comfort prayer/hymn." It is like God is wrapping you in Hims and giving you a hug.
ОтветитьThis is the prayer at the end of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. It is particularly moving in the sung version by Donna Cori Gibson. I just want to keep singing it in full voice (which would draw a lot of attention to myself, since I don't have a tiny voice). 😮🎶😊
ОтветитьWe close the Divine Mercy Chaplet of St. Faustina with this prayer 3 x "Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world
ОтветитьThis is amazing, specially posting it after the earthquakes that hit syria and lebanon yesterday. Beautiful.
قدوسٌ الله، قدوسٌ القوى، قدوسٌ الذي لا يموت، ارحمنا.
I love this icon of the child being lifted ☦
ОтветитьThis lifts my soul up..
Ответить❤❤❤ the appalachian version of the hymn you have linked in the description is absolutely stunning. also, stavros' appalachian version of 'o, gladsome light' is just as beautiful.
ОтветитьOne of my favorite moments in the Divine Liturgy
ОтветитьI came before my friends came 💀✨✍️
ОтветитьWith power! (As the deacon cries.)
ОтветитьI use this as the main, most numerous, prayer in my modified version of the rosary.
ОтветитьDidn't realize this was filmed in Australia, assumed such a high standard show must be somewhere international but so happy to learn this especially as Orthodoxy seems very unknown to Christians here
ОтветитьLove your posts (and the cuppa that goes with them)! 😇😇😇🫖
ОтветитьHoly God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal, have mercy on us
ОтветитьBeautiful
ОтветитьI listening from Russia and its summer here)). Keep up recording episodes, brother. Blessings to you!!
ОтветитьI had no idea the background of the prayer, amazing here in the West it was introduced to me through the Divine Mercy chaplet from Christ through St. Faustina…. Glory to God!
ОтветитьIt is a daily prayer I repeat frequently. We often the beauty of the Triune
Godhead. The Father is the Godhead, the Son is the ony Begotten of the Father, The Holy Spirit proceeds from the Father only. All accomplish the Will of the Father. We can only stand in amazment of this Triune Mystery. Amen, Amen, Amen.
Thanks
ОтветитьI am catholic and Lord Jesus gave chaplet of Divine mercy to St Faustina - extremely powerful prayer against calamities and to be praid next to dying souls.
It ends like this :
Holy God, Holy mighty one, Holy immortal one-have mercy on us and on the whole world x3
I'm a Catholic, but I discovered "monastery choir of st. john of san francisco" on spotify, and the album has blown me away, as well as introduced my to some Eastern prayers. I'm going to start praying this one, as well as a few other Eastern prayers.
ОтветитьI'm a cradle Catholic. I can't remember whether I first heard the Trisagion in an Orthodox church or an Eastern Catholic one, but I remember immediately feeling that there was something immensely powerful in its directness, simplicity, and humility.
ОтветитьWe sing ‘holy strong’ not “holy mighty” in my parish
