My win last year was also completing a year long undertaking:)
ОтветитьRandom Q: What mic do you use? You sound so crisp!
Ответитьwatch out with racket sports especially tennis, it can be extremely harsh on your joints if youre a jock and play hard
ОтветитьI wish I could like you more than once ❤️ getting energy from you 🎉 honest and caring 🙏
ОтветитьWhat are your cute little sneakers that you were wearing, tapping on the coffee table? Thank you
ОтветитьThe better shape you’re in, the ”harder” it’s to get in that zone 2. It’s not just a leisurly walk, if you have a high heart rate reserve, you might have to jog for that zone two 😅
Ответитьthanks for this video!! <3
ОтветитьJust wanted to say I know you had a rough year, but people grow when times are tough. And this year.... YOU HAVE GROWN! You are FLOURISHING! So excited to see where this year takes you, you seem so much HAPPIER than previous years. I'm so proud of you, I hope you are proud of yourself! Thank you for sharing your journey, and I'm excited for your content in 2025
ОтветитьThank you for the insights, and congrats to that impressive Clase Azul collection :)))
ОтветитьSome notes: the racket sport study could be biased because it doesn't control do socio economic background.
If you are a woman, there could be many reason your metabolism isn't great and there are good resources by Lara Briden on this topic.
Supplements again there are specifics which make more sense for women especially if you have issues linked to your menstrual cycle.
Keltie You mentioned strengthening your back. Would you consider doing a really detailed video on how to strengthen the back, and specifically make it something that can be done at home with simple equipment for people like me who can’t or don’t go to the gym? The reason I ask is because I have no knowledge of the lingo and I don’t know what you did based on the things you said. Thx for reading. x
ОтветитьThe crying all the time because of stress really hits home, as I start crying.
Ответитьyoud love looking into brain health is alzheimers is in your family. Working out the brain like a muscle is the best way to avoid it from research i did for a project! things like language learning etc.
ОтветитьYou're always super transparent about costs of things in your videos. If you can share, I'm super curious about the costs of your consultations and tests with "heath care 3.0". As a fellow Canadian, getting all those tests looked like a dream!
ОтветитьMy new favourite video of yours. Love this for you!
ОтветитьThis was such a sweet and inspiring video! You should be so proud! This year I want to find a way to spend more time with my friends and less time online 😭
ОтветитьIf your Omega-3 FAs were low, did you stop the supplement since it wasn’t working?
ОтветитьYou should read Good Energy by Casey Means and make a challenge out of implementing her principles, that would be really interesting. She’s very Attia-adjacent!
ОтветитьThe being bored as a sign of recovery is so smart! ❤
ОтветитьI have worked on my stress soo much last year. I noticed that it helped me in my recovery from long covid a lot. Step 1. Noticing the stress response (in all it's different forms) 2. Figure out what you are responding to 3. Find out if the stress is helping the situation or not 4. Calm down if necessary. Sounds easy, it's not. I have used several techniques and practices to implement these things. Practice is key. ❤
ОтветитьFair warning. I have kids and by the time they were 5 they were faster than me. Keep me motivated to run but still. 😅
ОтветитьI was also on a cholesterol journey this year and was able to make improvements Im super proud of! Definitely possible. Definitely Omega 3s. Also Fiber! Love having a safe place to go for this kind of content thats about stuff to add and not just stuff that Im doing thats bad ❤
ОтветитьWatching my 81-year-old dad age has shown me how essential mental health is. His wife had a stroke, which limited her in some ways and severely impacted her mental health and she has dragged my dad with her into her pit of depression and it is so sad to watch and accept. Physical changes like pain and mobility loss are inevitable, but the ability to adapt to "new normals" is what really matters. If I lose the ability to do activities that I feel define my identity, can I accept that? What if my dental health declines and I lose some of my teeth? If I'm incontinent will I let that prevent me from being social? Will I be able to accept somebody else helping me if I need it? If I lose my mobility (I have an autoimmune disease and this is highly likely) can I deal with that? How do people with constant pain deal with that and still live a fulfilling life?
ОтветитьI normally do a new years resolution, but I haven't really picked something specific this year. I've been trying to bring a low excitement vibe, I'm calling it 90s life 😅 just trying to live like it's the 90s, making 99/100 meals at home, watching a movie on the weekend instead of binging series throughout the week, using my phone to call or text, but not for social media, unsubscribing from the news (I actually made it like 3 days before I realised Trump was officially in office), cleaning the flat before bed and lots of reading and baths, not doing much at the weekend and not being bothered by it.
ОтветитьAll cause morality 😂😂😂
ОтветитьBut we just love Keltie. She’s just the best you’re doing all the homework for us, and then explaining it in simple terms. I want to see Kelty’s hair like with warm, low lights… I think they’re calling it a lived in blonde, but one of the examples I can think of is Heidi Summer‘s had that really blonde hair and I just love how her hair is now I think Kelsey should go into a colorist and Got a picture of Heidi now because I just love that look I think it would. I don’t know B really gorgeous on her.❤
ОтветитьShe struggles getting into her zone5, whereas for me, my heart rate spikes immediately as soon as I go a little harder :(
ОтветитьFor women, not eating a little bit when you wake up keeps cortisol/the stress hormone high, especially if you work out fasted. Maybe having a protein shake with some chia seeds for omega 3s and a small carb when you wake up would help with managing stress. Dr. Stacy Sims talks about women’s hormones and how some mainstream advice is suited for men and not women and she mentions eating within 30-45 minutes ish of waking up
ОтветитьI'm glad you mentioned picking your skin. I have been trying to reduce my crazy cortisol level for a year and a half. Sometimes I feel like it's not helping that much, but I haven't picked for a loooong time.
ОтветитьIm not trying to be rude because I know you're natuarally thin, but these days you're looking a bit too thin. Ill leave it at that.
ОтветитьGreat video! Love how to gained muscle mass, and also started feeling better overall.
ОтветитьThis is my favorite video that you've ever made! I look forward to watching your channel for years to come!
ОтветитьI really connect with your journey. Being a very high strung person obsessed with health/wellness/longevity and forgetting that if I’m not happy, what’s the point of living longer. I’m so interested to see more of your journey as you conquer stress/stillness. Thank you for your authenticity 🙏🏻
ОтветитьPeter Attia partly owns AG1.
ОтветитьLove Love Love!!!!
ОтветитьIt feels like one would need to be unemployed to do all of this^^"
ОтветитьThe burger slander must stop! A burger is HEALTHY & balanced meal when made consciously at home.
ОтветитьNot me stopping the video to make a “Keltie to-do” list lol dexa, rows for back, AG1 (using her link of course) and…. Back to the video
ОтветитьYou're the real deal, Keltie. Keep being you, being honest, being raw. It's what matters and will make the biggest difference -- for you and for us!
ОтветитьOk I read this book after watching this video and I understand why Keltie had to do nothing for 30 days at trying to follow Peter's protocols. It is TOO MUCH. The book asks for 3 hours weekly of zone 2 cardio, 4 times a week weight training (however long it takes you), 2 hours weekly of stability/mobility, 45 minutes weekly of VO2 max training and sleeping 8 hours everyday. What about working? Commutes? Cooking? Cleaning? Groceries? Laundry? Social life? When I reached the final chapter about Peter's performance-based-self esteem it all made sense and honestly poor guy and I'm glad he's in a better place now. I honestly related too much to it and maybe Keltie too. But this book should be a guideline only, not a healthy goal or model.
ОтветитьI can’t run I’m an average sized woman with oversized breast, I’m jealous of women with smaller breast. Boobs suck
ОтветитьOnce you do get a dog, you need to try canicross. I'll be waiting for the video.
ОтветитьI needed this video today! Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьJust added the audiobook to my library and I'm gonna listen to it during my next chore/weekly reset day :D.
ОтветитьI'm curious about your spiritual health and any religious beliefs--your life after death beliefs. Any Christian beliefs about Jesus the Savior and the Bible?
ОтветитьLove this video thank you for all that you do!!!
This makes me geek out on Ayurveda Medicine (yoga's sister science) categories/dosha (kapha, vata, pitta) sort of of like mesomorph, endomorph and ectomorph. It tailors your lifestyle to the type of person you are, and your specific needs. Everyone is different and I love that!!!
Not sure but it seems like you are a pitta, fire, naturally lean always on, high metabolism but lower bone density. I am defs a kapha (closer to endomorph) so slower moving, thick skin, hold on to weight easier, soft but not in a bad way, my teacher used to say "kaphas are a warm cozy blanket". I used to be upset that I was a kapha because it seems easier to be tinier and always on, and be able to eat anything with out it affecting me. But as I get older I am grateful for my larger bones because bone density is not a problem, I am usually not high strung or stressed. We are naturally your more type b friend and I am finally starting to appreciate that. Appreciating that everyone is different and that what you think is sometime your weakness or struggle is actually your strength. Thanks for sharing your journey!!!!
As someone who works shift work including overnights, stress and lack of sleep on the body and mind is so difficult to manage.
ОтветитьThanks!
