Yes. My parents would cook up a big Thanksgiving meal. But my parents immigrated from China years ago and my mom will make some Chinese side dishes with the traditional Thanksgiving food.
ОтветитьThe short form cooking works for me.👍🏻 for people that are non-dairy, a creamier, thicker nondairy milk is unsweetened pure soy milk. I buy Trader Joe’s because it’s organic soybeans and water, nothing else. I happen to be 99% vegan (salmon a couple times a month) but thoroughly enjoy your videos!
ОтветитьHow did the 'Date' go?
ОтветитьI would do cashew cream .Just soak cashews in warm water for an hour or so and grind. Love ur videos.
ОтветитьYou want Christmas food for Thanksgiving lol
ОтветитьThanksgiving gumbo is our tradition.
ОтветитьI just love what you do - your sense of humour ("He's my new best friend, he just doesn't know it yet." Not even remotely creepy 😊 but my sons said they understood your reason looking at that vehicle and we all had a good laugh.) Your content, in whatever shape or form, is brill - a joyful, energising view to start the day in New Zealand. Thank you for sharing part of what you do - butter chicken for tea tonight.
ОтветитьI didn't hate the vertical switch but I like the horizontal format better. Don't worry about losing your car. I lost my car once when quickly driving to an interview downtown and I was 24. I was looking for a vacant parking lot, parked, reviewed my job information on the way to the interview. When the interview was over I completely drew a blank. I walked around for 4 hours before finding my vehicle. Pumpkin pie is cool once or twice a year. 😀
ОтветитьI like you chatting away.
We have turkey at Xmas ❤️🇬🇧
Have subscribed
so fun
ОтветитьI agree, sweet potato pie is so much better than pumpkin pie 🥧
No to the vertical video.
Thanks for sharing your story. Enjoy your videos 😊
lol that parking lot joke was gold
ОтветитьYour sexy 😅
ОтветитьI feel in face today..I'm not right 😂..thanks for being here
ОтветитьNext time use coconut milk because it greatly enhances curry dishes. And if you can't create your own fresh coconut milk try the powdered ones you have to reconstitute, I don't really like the canned ones, the flavour profile in my opinion isn't as great. I'm from Trinidad, an island in the Caribbean, so dried coconuts are easy for me to access and I usually buy them, break them and cut the hard jelly flesh to blend and create my own coconut milk/cream. The less water you use the creamier the coconut milk. It provides better flavour than cream to curry dishes.
Btw, I love the content of your videos and the vertical video was cool for the purpose of focusing on the pot. Great video.
How bout chicken kiev?
A breast of chicken that you cut into & butter pours out of it. To die for! Haven't had it in at least 49 years darn it!
This internet STRANGER enjoys your videos very much. You come across as a very genuine, funny talented guy. I try to watch ALL of your videos: short or long. Keep up the good work! You will be at 1 million subscribers before you know it. 😊
ОтветитьI love you chatting away!!
Thinking outside of the box with cooking is Awesome. I also love cooking that way!
Keep up the Great work!!
I agree Thanksgiving needs better food. One year we did Prime Rib. But I do like the Pumpkin pie. But Im not a big pie person so I dont know whats out there. Warm Apple Pie with a good vanilla ice cream is the best thought.
ОтветитьYour videos are so addicting. Love it!!!
ОтветитьYou always just have me giggling! 🤭 😂
ОтветитьI love watching videos that give me a peek into someone else's life, and yours give me that times 2, since I get to see a peek of your clients' lives. I'm not looking for cooking advice and I'm not interested in being a personal chef; I just find what you're doing interesting and entertaining. I loved hearing how you got into this line of work, so thanks for sharing. Keep up what you're doing!
ОтветитьWhooooooooooooaaaa looks delish!!!
Ответитьlove your videos🌷
ОтветитьSuffice it to say that a lot of Americans celebrate TG by eating a Banquet TV dinner of artificial turkey and irradiated dies...
ОтветитьNo, you are wrong. It is not about the food, it's about the tradition. If your Momma makes the worst turkey in the world you still want her turkey at Thanksgiving because it brings back the feeling of family and tradition and love. It's all the things.
ОтветитьPOV while you’re cooking 100%
ОтветитьNo, we can not get rid of the turkey. We can, however, add any side anyone wants.
ОтветитьI shook up my Christmas traditional menu over 20 years ago as my kids did not like Turkey - so I created a family friendly menu that suited our hot climate and then rejigged everything again to accommodate a shift worker and we did Christmas Eve as our main meal! I think it's so important to shake things up as otherwise the food just becomes predictable and boring.
ОтветитьChef Eric, can you please share your elote recipe? I would like to make it as a side for Thanksgiving Day.
ОтветитьDigital Underground! Gen X - we are the best.
ОтветитьNew subscriber from Htown! Something seems familiar about you - don’t know if it’s the Texas connection or the GenX sense of humor… You should move back to Texas. Between the Houston, Dallas, San Antonio and Austin metros you could grow your business and the channel very easily! Keep up the great content!
ОтветитьNot a fan his other channel is better...as a paid chef wondering who he really is
ОтветитьTurkey is gross…nothing special about it.
ОтветитьIve never really liked turkey or ham . I will roast a chicken and still make dressing
ОтветитьHaha “He’s my new friend, he just doesn’t know it yet.” Great video❤
ОтветитьI don't like the vertical but that's just me. Love your channel
ОтветитьIt’s an old thing❤😂
ОтветитьLove your recipes , love your personality…you are amazing 💖
ОтветитьI here from barbados 🇧🇧 love your videos ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьI do love pumpkin pie, but I am willing to compromise and say it's not a pie...IF it can be categorized in my daily servings of vegetable
ОтветитьNo sorry!!! Nope. I like traditional dishes. Actually we eat Turkey all year. Turkey , gravy, mashed, sweets, green bean casserole, squash, cranberry sauce. Pumpkin pie.
Ответитьdid u study for culinary?
ОтветитьThe pumpkin pie take was real bad. Pumpkin pie with whip cream is S-tier. Fight me.
ОтветитьThere’s nothing to do with age get up in the morning and have coffee like the rest of us. Don’t wait.
ОтветитьI'm not into the traditional stuff, I did Chinese for Thanksgiving and will make Mexican for Christmas. That's just how I roll.
The vertical thing really didn't work for me but still love the life you fell into and decided to share with us Misfits. ❤
Kundan Lal Gujral (c. 1902 - 1997) was an Indian chef and restaurateur based in New Delhi. He invented several Indian dishes which have since become popular worldwide, including Butter chicken, Paneer makhani, Tandoori chicken and Dal makhani. He was the founder of the restaurant chain Moti Mahal Delux.
ОтветитьDelicious chicken...I will definitely make it again.
ОтветитьYou picked up the oatmilk because you said you had some people in the office who were lactose intolerant. Then you proceeded to use yogurt and real butter, both contain lactose. And then you said you picked up the oatmilk by mistake.
