I've got the Revolution 12.5% vitamin C from Superdrug 😊 Nice price, dark container and pump. It is quite fruity and sticky and I do need to buffer my skin first, but it definitely gives glow under my SPF 😊
ОтветитьI use the timeless 20%.
I love it and it has an airless pump.
Why can't other brands use that pump...it lasts for a longer time imho.
Love the video!!
Please review byoma.
ОтветитьI have to try the timeless serum you and many other rave about it! Wishing you well
ОтветитьPlease do a full review on the Byoma brand Rob, would love to hear your opinion on their products 😁
ОтветитьBright orange looks good on you!
ОтветитьGoodal vitamin c serum looks promising.
ОтветитьThe Timeless gives good results but I’m not gonna repurchase it because of it’s extremely high concentration of Ethoxydiglycol (more than 20%, it’s listed before Ascorbic Acid). It’s a penetration enhancer and also used in dyes, wood stains, paints. Guess that’s why it works so well. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not one of these “clean beauty” folks but I guess there’s a reason why in the EU the allowed maximum concentration for cosmetics is at 2.6 percent. Gonna try out the G&G, although an airless pump bottle would be sooo much nicer.
ОтветитьG & G C glow for me. Shipping to the US not an issue when you add some of their other fabulous products (A game, stress less, hydrating toner, jelly joker cleanser - it isn’t that difficult to get to 60 euros).
ОтветитьI’ve been using Dr. Brenner vit c and ferulic acid. I absolutely love it and have seen great results. The price point is great too.
ОтветитьI love me my Sunday Riley serum. Not sure why but I love it. It works. Sorry it's so pricey. XXOO
ОтветитьThanks for the tips on vitamin c Rob! But you forgot to mention the biggest benefit to vitamin c serums. They smell like hot dog water! (At least the Timeless serum does…) So, all you have to do is add some mustard and a bun and you have a relatively low calorie lunch! 🤣❤️xxxx
ОтветитьLove the sunny yellow jumper! I’m a ascorbic acid fan. I’ve been using the Timeless 20% and I’ve been seeing great results with it. I will use a derivative if my skin is feeling sensitive. But the Timeless is the best vitamin c that I’ve tried.
ОтветитьI’m on team Ascorbic Acid, my skin loves it and it’s done wonders for it!
I’ve tried several brands and my favorite is Glow Maker by Maelove. It has all the good stuff at a good price and is a California based company so I feel like I’m buying local-ish.
My tip to keep it fresher longer: I use a 0.5 ounce Infinity Jar pump bottle. I decant half the bottle and store the original bottle in the refrigerator.
What a timely video...I've been wanting to upgrade to Pure Vit C and have been doing research on it lately. Thank you Rob and you read my mind 🙂
First off, I am not disciplined to stick my skin care in fridge and the fact that good packaging is a critical criteria for maximizing the efficacy of the product, leaves me with no choices. How about Vit C powder instead? Can be mixed with aloe and applied on the go? Nice and fresh, hazzle free product maintenance and gives you max efficacy. Your thoughts on powder form is much appreciated.
Secondly, a question for you. Can I layer peptides and niacinamide with pure Vit C?
Thank much ..you look lovely in yellow btw .
I appreciate how you will give props to a good product from a brand that you don't care for (like Purito), if it will help us. However, if it's a product that tests on animals, feel free to always ignore, no matter how good!
ОтветитьI like both! For pure vit c, I use timeless 20% and that is my day vit c. For nights I use the ordinary tetralsopalminate 20%
ОтветитьYes please to the full Byoma range ❤️
ОтветитьLove the Straita vitamin C
ОтветитьI used the Timeless based on your recommendation in a previous video. It delivered the results but I hated the hot dog water smell. I am currently using Goodal Vitamin C with tranaxem acid it’s very gentle but I don’t see too much a difference using it. I have been intrigued at Target with Byoma. A full review video would really help a girl out 😁
ОтветитьDefinitely want to hear a full review on Byoma! xx
ОтветитьCould I use the stratia one before buffet? Or do the silicones prevent penetration?
ОтветитьVit C is one product I haven't given much thought, I just haven't found a place for it in my routine for it x
ОтветитьByoma best and worst reviews!!
ОтветитьI’d love to see a full Byoma review. I’ve been enjoying their gel cream.
ОтветитьI am dry and acne prone so hyperpigmentation is the least of my concerns despite having many scars due to picking my skin. But if there is a vitamin c product I am interested in trying is LRP and Vichy's vitamin c serums. Tbh though I would rather spend that money on any retinol products I can find. I do like Nature Republic Vitapair C cream because it was hydrating; the line's serum is the hero product but honestly it did nothing for me; the toner was decent though.
ОтветитьHey Rob, would love a full brand review of BYOMA, I’m using their gel moisturiser atm and I absolutely love it! Lightweight, soothing and hydrating plus it has ceramides in it 🎉
ОтветитьHi Rob! Great video 👌 hope you are fine. My favorite one is Vichy peptide C ampoules! Leaves skin really firm and hidrated, love it!
ОтветитьI can't wait for your new products to be launched!!! so excited 😊
ОтветитьThanks Rob! 🍃💕 I have yet to try GG but I have really liked many many of the derivatives & most of the US based & JP l-asc faves out there … I may be sticking to the slower but still lovely result of less volatile derivatives finally.
ОтветитьHi Rob, do you know what the percentage of ascorbic acid is in the Byoma serum please? I tried to ask them about the niacinamide and they wouldn't give an answer. It's not advertised as a vitamin C serum and it's included quite far down the ingredients so intrigued at the amount in there 🙂
ОтветитьI’d love a full review of the brand Byoma. I’ve been using he hydrating serum and gel moisturizer for a few weeks now and my skin has never been better.
ОтветитьI want to use vitamin c but every time I try one it breaks me out. I dont know what to do!
Ответитьwould love a full brand review on byoma!
ОтветитьI’d quite like to see a Byoma review :) their products look interesting :)
ОтветитьHi Rob, firstly I would like to thank you for your videos love them so much I have learned so many things from your videos. I just want to ask can you do a video on what can be used for anti aging combination skin type over 40s.I would really love some advice thank you so much ;)
ОтветитьHello! 🙂👋 Can I mix the C Glow serum from Geek & Gorgeous with my moisturiser in the beginning until my skin gets used to it?
I'm a beginner in vitamin C and I know that to go directly for ascorbic acid is not the best thing when it has to do with irritation 😬 but I loved their ingredients and wanna give it a try 😄
It says the timeless vitamin C isn't available in the UK? so how do we purchase it please
Ответить💚
ОтветитьMad Hippie
ОтветитьDo you have any video that talks about the eye area???
ОтветитьI just got the q+a serum and it broke me out which is weird considering it's ingredient list
ОтветитьDid the timeless get rid of that one controversial Ingredient?
ОтветитьHi. I bought geek and gorgeous bit c serum per your recommendation and I love it. I was wondering, what do you think about garden of wisdom bit c serum 25% + ferulic acid?
ОтветитьI love love love listening to your content.
ОтветитьI want to know byoma serum benefits and can use versed retinol with it and salicylic acid
ОтветитьIm proud of Geek and Georgeous cause it's a Hungarian brand and still amazing. The formulators did a good job with it. Im using their retinal serum too. It's great. And it's great for a sensitive skinned.
ОтветитьJust bought the q+a and it made my skin GLOW❤ And become so soft. But what a HORRIBLE SMELL... ( WHY?? Just...why...?)
ОтветитьI ordered G&G it was here in less than 5 business days. Also I was able to get it in Canada. Xx
ОтветитьHey guys and welcome to todays video where we talk ascorbic acid - the truest form of vitamin c.. I want to share with you my favourite ascorbic acid serums but I would also love to know yours so sound off in the comments section below and let me know your own holy grails..
