More and more of what's been done in past years (movies, TV shows, and so on) are on point with predictions.
It's rather disconcerting when The Simpsons get things right about current or future events better than our own "gentlemen" of the press or government.

Taking the USD off the gold standard set this in motion. The Republicans did it.
This is why the USD is only worth a dime. Own it, GOP.

When you print money like Trump and hand out a big (over $2 trillion eventually) tax cut mostly to the very rich... AND dropping company tax from 35% to just 21% when most companies are having record profits.... guess what... it causes inflation! Which is great because you can then blame the next party in office for the inflation. Nobody seems to link the two things (taxcut <-> inflation) and I don't know why - not even the Dems link the two things? The high prices affect the lowest 1% that only got $70 back a year, vs the top 0.1% that get 1/4 million back each year.

When anybody brags about owning a "million dollar" house that might be worth up to $100,000 🤣
