Why was there ever an exise tax on tanning services?
ОтветитьI'm a conservative and I know both Dems AND Republicans have bad actors. I'm glad this was called out. I'm disappointed that the republican didn't acknowledge it.
ОтветитьI thought the FDA steers people away from tanning beds because of cancer-causing UV. Maybe RFK Jr should put his two shits in on it. If they're not going to text tanning beds does that mean they're not going to require a license either????????
ОтветитьJason Smith (R-Mo.) is a Trump suck up - Figures he's from Missouri - one of the most backward states in the US
ОтветитьThe trump crime family and republicans are impressively corrupt and dysfunctional
ОтветитьI'd like to know why the ministry of silly walks isn't properly represented here.
ОтветитьUntil orange lip Republicans get voted out, this is what you get. So there you go.
ОтветитьAll you need to know. Vanity gets the perks.
ОтветитьAll I can see and hear is that big ass snaggle tooth smacking me in the face.
ОтветитьOf all the fucking shit, they could've done to help the American people, they come with tanning beds unfuckingbelievable
ОтветитьThe sass 😂
Ответитьmaga doesn't care how much you tax 'em while letting the wealthiest among us get free rides as long as they don't get a glimpse of the wrong naughty bit while in a restroom or overhear spanish being spoken...It does appear they are willing to carve out exemptions for overweight afrikaners...
ОтветитьThe cowardice of repubs and maga at every level of govt now is astounding
ОтветитьWow another MAGA closet coat hunger. What a drama queen! “I don’t want to read the bill for you!” Hmm. Is that because she’s a democrat “ a woman? Or a woman of colour? Or all three. Talk about him being a lowerlever Mike Johnson drama queen

ОтветитьI got a Tax Break for my Tanning Beds!! MAGA!!!!!!
ОтветитьHere are some key Supreme Court cases and historical context supporting the idea that non-citizens and criminal defendants have constitutional rights under the U.S. Constitution:
1. Non-Citizens Have Rights Under the Constitution
Yick Wo v. Hopkins (1886)
Ruling: The 14th Amendment's Equal Protection Clause applies to all persons, not just citizens.
Quote: “The Fourteenth Amendment to the Constitution is not confined to the protection of citizens. It says: ‘Nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.’”
Plyler v. Doe (1982)
Ruling: Texas could not deny free public education to undocumented immigrant children.
Key Point: The Court affirmed that undocumented immigrants are “persons” under the 14th Amendment and are therefore entitled to due process and equal protection.
Zadvydas v. Davis (2001)
Ruling: Non-citizens, including those who are undocumented or have been ordered deported, are protected by the Due Process Clause.
Quote: “Once an alien enters the country, ... he may not be punished without due process of law.”
2. Criminal Defendants Retain Constitutional Rights
Gideon v. Wainwright (1963)
Ruling: Defendants have a right to legal counsel under the 6th Amendment, even if they cannot afford one.
Miranda v. Arizona (1966)
Ruling: Defendants must be informed of their 5th and 6th Amendment rights upon arrest — leading to the now-famous “Miranda warning.”
Roper v. Simmons (2005)
Ruling: Sentencing juveniles to death is unconstitutional under the 8th Amendment, which bans cruel and unusual punishment.
Key Point: Even convicted criminals, including minors, are protected by constitutional rights.
Historical Principle
From its inception, the Constitution has protected “persons”, not only “citizens.” This was intentional: the Founders and later constitutional amendments often used broad language like “any person” to ensure rights applied broadly, including to immigrants and those accused of crimes.
Summary
Non-citizens (documented or undocumented) on U.S. soil have constitutional protections, especially under the 1st, 4th, 5th, and 14th Amendments.
Criminals and defendants maintain rights throughout the legal process, and constitutional protections are essential in ensuring fair treatment under the law.
I feel like lot of people don’t know how our constitution is written and how it works! That goes for Clown Trump and his followers and Kelly!!!
Ответить´orange hue'. Good one.

ОтветитьWhat a joke that administration is. The world laughs at you America.
ОтветитьUnbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьBeyond belief that this is so important to make our lives better!!!!!!
ОтветитьYou need to focus on the more sinister parts of this bill like the part where courts can no longer prosecute the government for contempt.
ОтветитьMAGA republicans are so embarrassed by the contents of their own bill that they refuse to read its details!!!!!
YOU CAN’T MAKE THIS SH1T UP!!!! MAGA republicans are SO DAMN CORRUPT AND EVIL, BUT WHEN FACED WITH THEIR OWN TRUTH, THEY WILL DENY, LIE, HIDE, and IGNORE THE TRUTH AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!

Love her .
ОтветитьHow did we get here? How do we get out? There are no more adjectives to describe these MAGA , incompetent, corrupt, idiots.
ОтветитьIt's not a repeal of a tax if you have a tanning bed.
It's actually much worse; it's a tax that tanning bed businesses collect from the customer and then pass on to the government; so let's be clear here, the consumer is paying this tax, not the business owner.
It's a 10% excise tax that the customer pays to the business that then forwards that tax to the federal government.
How much you wanna bet that absolutely none of the tanning bed businesses lower their prices by 10%?
White people are notorious for this tactic of if I don't acknowledge it, it doesn't exist. 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьOur country is a dumpster fire 🔥
ОтветитьStupid I wouldn’t read it either
ОтветитьAlso silencers will be tax free so we can become orange assassins. Look it up.
ОтветитьTrying to get this bill through Congress before the shit hits the fan with tariffs. We have stockpiled a lot of Chinese goods so we haven't felt the full impact yet (maybe June or July). Screw us over now at 1:00am before the real shit comes through the pipeline.
ОтветитьMore and more and more and more examples of racism and sexism within the maga party.
ОтветитьAshamed of their own Fascist Bill
ОтветитьMAGA IS SO DUMB😂
ОтветитьTrump is a convicted felon. Trump is a convicted felon and all Republicans are complicit.
ОтветитьOld City pants Donald Trump must needed a tax on his Teddy beds tax cuts tax cuts for the rich tax cuts for the rich tax cuts for the rich
ОтветитьWhat was with the gimmick of trying to make him read it? This bill sucks but that guy is right, she wasn’t there to ask questions but to have him be part of her little stunt. She could have made him defend ridiculous aspects of the bill but made it about her instead. Trump’s luckiest break is his enemies. Come on Dems, fight back better!
ОтветитьThe tax on tanning beds was something in the "affordable care act" . What does tanning beds have to do with health care? That bogus tax should be repealed.
Ответить
