Why doesn't EPE buy this home back and either restore it and make it part of the tour. Or make it a B*N*B Guest House. It is a historical part of the ELVIS legacy.

Spa guy, wasn't that hot tub "room" designed to partner with the pool providing a convenient outdoor access to wet suits in the form of changing room, shower, toilet?
To back my theory the line in the ceiling and wall you can see a wall has been removed. The tile floor the neighbor replaced was to the original hot tub "WET ROOM" wall.
Originally, I think the hot tub was semi outside, perhaps screened in. You would access the inside of the house through a slider, which is where the line in the ceiling and down the wall is. Once they owned it, Vernon desired a large master downstairs so they enlarged what I would call a "games" room to consume the hot tub room ensuite, to be his sleeping room. Afterall it is already an ensuite...plumbing already in place.
The slider that was once what you came in through the games room, from the hot tub room (tile floor) now gets bumped to the next opening and provides him a closure to his master bedroom/ensuite. Why throw away a good door?
*You would NEVER want that volume (depth) of hot steamy water encased in a bedroom. Too humid and would introduce encourage moisture to drip from ceilings etc. There would not be a code where unprotected drywall (walls and ceilings) would allow a hot tub with that much water volume. (even a bath tub would still be risky in a "non wet" space). NO WAY was that hot tub intended to be indoors.
I say tighten up and get with me on this! Ha ha!

It's a sad shame they've allowed the house and property get in this condition. Why buy it and not do any work on it?

If that was Vernon's and Dee Presleys home assume syhat Dee's. Name wasn't on the title has owner of this home. What happened to her , because Vernon lived at Graceland until his death.

The problem with investing in restoring this property is that the property values in this area are not very high. The whole area is pretty much in the tank and nobody really wants to live there anymore. BTW, the picture of his house at the end if your video, you know those people weren't lining up to see his body of course. They were part of the CF that transpired after his death when thousands of people flocked to the area when his death was announced until the police blocked off the roads to try to maintain order. I was working at a car dealership just north of Graceland and was there the day he died. I saw the ambulance with police escort leave Graceland and head north toward downtown and knew something was up. The place was a zoo for a couple of weeks, we had to have police escorts to get to and from the business and to be able to test drive cars. It was quite the scene.

that doorbell maybe when he got older his hearing wasn't as good and so that way he could hear if someone came to the door

Did Mr Vernon sell the property before his death? If Lisa Marie had got this property, it would have been in a better shape.

I grew up right next door. That’s my Aunt Wanda and Uncles Wilkes house right next door. They shared that white fence. Many stories of Vernon, Dee and her boys. My dad worked at Graceland 30 years.
