3 weeks ago I barely knew about league just that its a huge playerbase. I get served 1 LR video by the algorithm now im here. Still never played a moba in my life.

This is just the first 10 min btw LMAO

1. "Crownie takes too many resources." - It was the only way they could win a game.

2. "Crownie and Labrov are going to be the worst bot lane in LEC." - 3 months later they got called the best bot lane in LEC. So how did they go from being the worst to the best in 3 months?

3. EG kept telling Crownie he was confirmed to be on the team. The very last day, EG dropped him.

4. Crownie kept asking SK what the roster would be or else he wouldn't join. SK got mad because he wanted to know the roster.

5. People created rumors that Crownie would only join G2 or FNC and nobody else. When Crownie only wanted a team that wanted to win and would take his input into account. He didn't think FNC or G2 was ever realistic for him. So people randomly bullshitted rumors out of thin air.

6. VIT had the most superficial tryout ever where they made Crownie fight for a spot against an ERL ADC. Who he obviously crushed. But the way the coached said he passed the tryouts because he talked a lot and ignored the fact that he went 10/0 every game. Gave Crownie vibes that the coach was fake and it wasn't a good look. Crownie was still desperate to compete, so he still joined.

7. He doesn't understand why people are so polarizing with him. Some people really like him and others will really hate him. He thinks it's maybe because he's not the nicest person in SoloQ and that the way he talks might rub people the wrong way. He doesn't know, but he really dislikes how people ignore the fact that he's been able to boost every team he's been on in the standings. They don't give him any credit for making teams he joins a lot better, when the results are clearly there.

8. People were calling him the best ADC in LEC. But 3 months later, he plays against 2023 Superteam JDG and DWG at Worlds and suddenly he's not even LEC level anymore? People don't suddenly go from best LEC ADC to not even LEC level in 3 months.

9. BDS CEO, who hasn't played ever played League in his whole lifetime, told Crownie he's getting benched for not clicking enough. Crownie asked him, "so if, 4 months later, I carried every game, won the split, and got MVP, I would still get benched?" CEO told him yes because he didn't want to be wrong.

10. Adam thought they needed to permaban 3 ADC picks every game. Crownie thought they needed to permaban Rumble, because Rumble was the most broken top lane on the Worlds patch. Adam called Crownie a "dogshit passenger". Crownie told him they would only need to permaban those 3 ADCs because playing top lane with TP versus playing top lane with Ignite is way different. Adam flamed the fuck out of Crownie and told his French management that Crownie needs to be kicked from the team. Crownie got kicked 1 week after BDS got knocked out of Worlds.

I can't believe you had to deal with 3 french people on your team.

Only 14 minutes in, I watch neme frequently one thing he has always said is how piss poor orgs are at decision making/roster building. Hearing Crownie’s stories only proves this point.

no particular hate to Xmatty, but that guy is the first LEC AD that i saw loose every lane, i remember that BDS to help with that gave them bot counterpicks almost always and even with that he just couldn't hold his own against any AD, also he just fell behind on CS on an exaggerate amount, like 60 CS behind at 18 minutes, wich for proplay is too much, he just wasn't LEC level, and it not only was about numbers, whoever that saw that guy play it almost looked as if he was at much Master tier playing against Challenger or smt like that. (The reason i remember it was because i was so hyped about that roster, they had absolute ERLs smurfers like Xmatty or Cinkrof, Grabbz who was on G2 and Adam who was pretty decent at that time and he just made it to worlds with Fnatic)

Conclusion: Crownie REALLY likes to talk about details in League of Legends. And the meta is a circle

what i notice with watching some inside team situation via recent boom on streaming team scrims. some players are not the smartest people in the world but act like they know what they are doing just because they are good at manipulating champions. they are good at mechanics, they are good at fighting and so on. but when it comes to understanding, they are surprisingly not smart. but still claiming that they know what is going on. and even criticizing others.
but it's hard truth to swallow for not smart people that they are not the smartest people.

I think what makes Los Ratones a bit more than just a content team is that the players really have something to prove. You have two elite players who got benched and had their reputation smeared and now people were doubting if they were still good enough, one player who roleswapped and now has to prove he's a high level support, a rookie jungler fresh off the ladder, and a toplaner who has never played pro with a unique playstyle that everyone wants to discredit. Obviously it's still just an ERL and not the most intense competition, but for each player individually there is importance to it and that's very cool.

Projects like Los Ratones, Rudy Sack, Team Nord bring back passion to eSports.
It feels like more the old days, i think this will be the future !
