After plenty of time to gather my thoughts DX19 turns to be my preferred one ☝️ it’s not by much as this video illustrates.
What made me change my mind is setting the pieces in the display cabinet. Ended up liking how the DX19 looks better with Joker more than how the original DX12 does. Either do taller it’s not very much and looks good posed displayed together DX11 Joker—DX19 Bats.
Sorry for the back and forth but was a very tough decision, as it’s not that much of an upgrade and quite a few downgrades. At the end of the day you can’t go wrong with either.

When this was released I instantly wanted it.. however what has changed my mind is the base. I think they have cheaper out. Using the same mould, but excluding the light, same accesories and not fixed the gauntlets not being tucked in yet again when they knkw that's what people want. I'm thinking of the new Armoury from the dark Knight as I think the improvements are more noticeable on that figure imo

The DX19 is the definitive Batman for me. I really don’t think the newest ones are that much better and in some aspects, aren’t as good as the DX19. Ideally, I would just like to upgrade the head and neck with the OT Customs options.

Is there a reason they don’t give you a hook style stand? These hook stands look like they wouldn’t allow much posing freedom

does the dx19 hs+mouth fit on dx12?

Your review give me doubts, especially for the price 😅 thanks i don't have the DX 12 or any other Dark knight figure...for me the reason of size the figure is perhaps to be perfectly suitable with the Bat-pod 🤔 the base is really a deception with the emplacements of the led for no reason, but i love the DX 19 cowl much more than the DX 12.

Does the dx12 belt fit the dx19

To me the sculpt with face plates of the DX12 looks more aggressive.. DX19 seems to soft, also same for the unmasked head for the DX12, he looks more angry 😁 What do you think?

The DX 12 has better articulation, especially in the abdominal area. You can get decent tilt side to side and crunch. Not to mention better bend in the elbows.

What happens if you disassemble the base stand? Is led wiring still inside???

For me , the head sculpt of christian bale from the dx12 is better 100times than the dx19 version.. the mouth slightly opened ,the eyes, the noise, the sculpt…This Dx19 HS reminds me Marty mcfly’s HS from the new BTTF 1 by hot toys ,same situation :Something’s wrong on the new one and the old one is better.

Good comparison video i own both like yourself ,always loved the dx12 till the armory bats came out and now that I have the dx19 it is the best in my opinion the cape finally done right and overall the figure itself is more movie accurate to me

I put in a pre order for the new 1/4 scale Batman, it looks awesome and it's got the diorama base. I can't wait to get it in my collection.
