Useful Tip: Click to end a line/curve then click the same node to start a straight line or curve in a different direction. It's like Crtl-L in inkscape but without the keyboard.

nice tutorial it helped a lot... one thing missing is once you join a shape, if i want to open it how do i do it? When i delete a node then connection moves to the next node :(
