The Big Cedar and Kennedy Falls hike lies in north Vancouver along the Lynn valley canyon. Below are hike chapters:

It is a dog-friendly hike. To reach Kennedy falls, you take the same trail as Big cedar. Both of these hikes are located in the east of Mount Fromme and to the west of Lynn Creek. Here are the trail details for both of the hikes.

Kennedy falls Hike:
Type: Out & back
Total time: 4 hours
Total distance: 10.5 Km
Elevation gain: 1496 ft or 456 meters
Level: Easy to moderate

Big Cedar Hike:
Type: Out & back
Total time: 3 Hours
Total Distance: 7 Kms
Elevation gain: Minimal

Along the trail, the Big Cedar hike is located at an almost two-thirds distance. The trail becomes steeper after the Big Cedar until Kennedy falls. The trail is well marked throughout. The hike is not tough but it's technical because of the tree roots and rocky path. Also, since the hiking trail is situated to the west of Lynn Creek, you can also hear the Lynn creek sound almost throughout the hike.
