Very good style 💎💪🏽😉
ОтветитьNice review Tom I use the Weber insta probe . This looks pretty cool compared with the Weber especially the price 👌👌

That is some really damned good advice for many different things Tom!
😂
Love you Tom!
Thank you tom for this review! I just ordered it, $12.84 after tax and supposed to arrive in 2 days. Seems like a smoken deal pun intended.
ОтветитьThe cheaper thermometers have come a long way quickly Tom. I use a cheaper one daily with no problems. Guess it depends on what name someone wants. Perfect review my friend!
ОтветитьGreat review. I’d purchase the cheaper one.
ОтветитьThermoworks is pretty much industry standard. Not bad for 13 bucks tho fir the tiger brand. We use the thermoworks for pilot brewery Temps in holding mash Temps. And calibrating PIDs
ОтветитьThat was a fair test. Thanks for your content Tom!
Ответитьthermapen don't care what u believe you already done spent your 90 dollars. I would take the cheaper one because you will get the same temp anyway.
ОтветитьI have several different instant read thermometers and I agree that the Thermopen is the fastest. But I see no problem if the reading is a couple seconds longer since it takes me a couple seconds to get the device to where I can read the temperature. Thermopen is nice but for the $$$ it should have more features, kinda like the less $ instant read pens. Thanks for the review Tom.
ОтветитьThermopen is a great product but I’m not spending $90 for an instant read thermometer. I use Inkbird and have a couple others. Nice review Tom! For $13 bucks, that’s seems to work fine. In my opinion. Cheers.
ОтветитьGood idea using the ONE as the control for experiments with other thermometers.
ОтветитьFor the amateur cook the cheaper ones are the way to go, I have several around the house, much like reading glasses for us AARP crowd.
The Thermapen has certifications that are likely a factor for use in commercial applications like restaurants where health inspections and food liability are a concern.
Hey Tom, have you heard about Webers new smart grill coming out on 1/18? Lolks like a new Genesis.
ОтветитьGreat review, I've been wanting a quick read, but couldn't justify the expensive price, when normally I just use my 980s built in. But for $13 this might be a great kitchen tool as well..
Ps... after I wrote this I looked at it on amazon, and it was a lightning deal for $9.99 after taxes a little over $10.. so I snagged one
Enter this code on Amazon, 20UGPB4T link is in the description for Amazon. Code is good until end of January 2022
ОтветитьAnother amateur here, you've found my thermometer for me and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I'll settle for the cheaper tool and the 1/2 degree more. Thanks again.....
ОтветитьThe instructions on how to calibrate the device are unclear. Here is what I did:
1. Fill a glass with ice and water, stir it and let it sit for 3 minutes.
2. Long hold CAL button until the display reads “CAL”, then release the button.
3. Insert the probe into the water, make sure it doesn’t touch the sides.
4. Hold the probe in place for 5 seconds, the long press CAL button until the display shows 32 F (or 0 C)
