By far the most terrifying thing about space is the fact that it's the one place that has not been corrupted by capitalism.

I have always been fascinated with space and the enormous scale of everything. The thing I like most is the fact that we are made from stars and the molecules that make up our bodies were once inside of a star.

It’s so crazy that space is real. No human truely gets it, because to truely understand it, you’d have to physically see it and experience it, which no human ever has. Except for the some that have gone up to the moon and what not

Another thing that is sad is that we won’t live long enough to know too much more about space. Let’s just be grateful we live in a time where we atleast know a decent amount

For me, it’s just the existential horror of knowing all the things you mentioned. The reality of the Fermi Paradox, the size of the universe, the smallness and inconsequentialness of our existence. It’s all so humbling, yet makes you start to question reality itself. Ask questions that aren’t entirely rational, nor would even matter to find the answers to. It just seems so futile

I feel only awe and love all things astronomical but I guess I can understand being overwhelmed by it. We can't conceive the distances. We may never get out of Earth, but I hope we do someday and go out and explore <3

I've been told that I must be a very grounded person because all of these concepts don't baffle me or shake me to the core. Contemplating the scale of the universe and the things within it just feels like any other puzzle to be solved. Basically just a big math equation.
