With so many billions NVIDIa making per year AND having 90% + of total GPU market share ! They dont give a shit !
ОтветитьI am building a new PC and decided to go AMD after having always been an Nvidia user. Excited to try out this 7900 GRE and join team red
ОтветитьMore importantly we don't want to be forced to buy a stupid 16pin that lights ablaze. I'll sooner jump ship to AMD
Ответитьspends the first 5 minutes of the video patting self on back
ОтветитьThis guy kinda looks like the human version of shrek
ОтветитьIt can have 50gb. Fuck it while it costs more than a full gaming system combined (ps , xb). Everyone should use this as a leverage for buying this stuff. No more mining price is still 3x as it really worth.
ОтветитьThis GPU market is an utter joke ... Nvidia's price and AMD's drivers .... both are complete jokes
ОтветитьWho wants to buy overpriced GPU that will drop to 50% of their price as soon as the new line up is out ?
ОтветитьI'm not buying the Nvidia because I don't want a GPU with a fire hazard on it. That doesn't mean I'm gonna get an AMD. Thats not going to happen either.
ОтветитьMy reaction to seeing the benchmarks for the 4070Ti Super was to go out a day before its launch and pick up a discounted Radeon 7900 XT to replace my 8gb 3070. Forget Nvidia till they shape up their attitude. DLSS looks fuzzy and suckes anyways. Rasterize my frames, baby.
ОтветитьMain reason why I went to AMD this time what I wanted was a 16GB card at minimum that didn't cost over $600 so I got the RX6800 for a little under $400 new it replaced my 3080-10gb which died & I'm really happy I basically got a slightly weaker 3080 with more Vram for not even half the price a year ago.
My next gpu seems to be the RX7900XT that looks awesome I've seen some of them at $730 with a game bundle which AMD is almost always doing so it's basically $75 off the gpu if you want the gane to.
I'm not surprised to hear they aren't selling. The price is WAY too high. Simple as that. USD$500 is all a 70 series is worth.
ОтветитьI don't know what to say Moore's Law, I personally think the 4070 Super is a great card for 1440p gaming. 13-30+ percent performance bumps for the same price as the outgoing base 4070? (Great!) I see the value and like the FPS"s this Super brings to the masses. Moore better or more Ram and circuitry only increases the heat and wattage design, And if needed more than I would buy the next level up!? 12 gigs is enough personally for me and my particular gaming and use cases. (Upgrading from a GTX 1080) Inflation sucks and $599 is still a tough pill to swallow. ( I totally get it) But, Using only 220 watts and getting more of everything is a no brainier and I'm glad I waited on buying this over the vanilla 4070. Dare to say... A more value oriented and proper launch? Peace!
Ответитьyou cant even get a 4070 super without 3 fans less than 650.
It is insane to buy the 2 fan versions unless you game for 1hr at a time.
Thats always been nvidia's lil trick with their partners. they give a price but its
going to be at least 100 bux more than for an actual useful card.
But when it comes to amd, you can get a real world card with 3 fans for 500 as in case of the 7800xt
Economics 101. Scalpers buy inventory when a price is below market value. They are then free to manipulate market value by introducing variables including the illusion of a shortage in supply. People who were in no hurry to buy panic and drive the market value up further. This takes profits away from retailers/manufacturers who respond by raising prices while at the same time limiting supply because the last thing they want is a surplus driving the price back down. This will continue until a fair market value is found that people will pay and scalpers can no longer profit.
There will always be exceptions in certain 'must haves' like Air Jordans and the very best GPU's where market value is limited by how much money you have in your pocket. But for things like mid range GPU's there is always a balance. Until then you have to ask yourself if a 12GB GPU you can actually find/buy at $599 is worth more than the same GPU w/ 16GB at $999 because you can't find/buy? Personally... I bought one for $599 yesterday.
Well in Poland the RTX 4070 Super was out of stock before it even appeared on 17.01... I checked it 15 mins after launch and it was gone, and still is...
ОтветитьI wish the scalper that buy a lot RTX 4070 Super cannot return it.
Best case but never happen is it has 16GB, 30% faster and sell at $330 just like GTX 970.
Many big company get this temptation when they make a bad product but it still good sales on that product or they now have new other big income, so that they don't much care about making a competitive product that the first known for.
12 GB in 2024? Hah, that's a good one.
ОтветитьI hope the 7600 price goes down after the release of xt. Thinking of using it for a secondary PC using older parts
Ответитьyup prices for amd are definitely dropping, just got a 7900xtx nitro + for 750 usd
ОтветитьWell lets hope we can still get the 4080 super.
ОтветитьNvidia is in for a shock with 4070 Ti super and its terrible name. The greedy envious snake needs to drop 100 to 150 dollars off of every gpu they currently sell.
Ответить7800 XT to me is strictly worth $450. Nvidia obviously is a complete joke at this price point, as their worst product of the last decade (outside of the extreme low end) is the 4060 Ti. But 6800 XT is usually better.
ОтветитьGood work everyone, please continue as prices inevitably drop. We deserve more.
Ответить1080ti had 11gb of ram, that was 10 years ago or so now, they are trying to tell gamers that 1 more gb of ram is good enough? LOL I mean might be for some small programs I guess
ОтветитьI don't know if I really understand how GPUs utilize vram vs system ram to make an informed decision on whether having more vram is a good thing for gpus. I mean, is it possible that a gpu could use system memory if it runs out of vram? I have a hard time believing that a gpu could not utilize system memory.
ОтветитьNvidia really fucked up. The 4070 ti should be the 4070 for 499 dollars.
ОтветитьThe 4070 super at least in over here in my EU country isn't selling because it selling 60-70 Euros above the $=€ MSRP. If it's the same in the US that's the problem not the 4 gigs of RAM. This of course is not considering that both the 4070 (super) and the 7800xt are massives scams selling 100 euro above what they should in a market with normal competition.
Ответитьwho would want to buy a 4070 super tho. the 4070 has been available (no shortages to prevent people from buying them) and most people willing to spend 600$+ on a gpu would have done so already.
a 4060 super would be much better cause to me the 4060 is gimped trash they should make a refresh with 12gb with 192bit bus and pcie x16. that would get me to spend 300$ on a 4060 super unlike the current 4060 which i would not spend more than 200$ if i even consider buying it because its gimped and lacks bandwidth which cache does not make up for no matter howmuch they want us to believe that it does it just doesnt. proven by the 3060 12gb vs the 3060 8gb..
glad i picked mine up at msrp and its the msi gaming x slim version XD
Ответить"Scalper collective". More like Scum collective.
ОтветитьI have got a 4070 super last week, replaced my old 2070 super. It was an ok upgrade.
ОтветитьThe 40 series GPUs are overpriced and not worth the cost. The original 4070 is at best a $400 card and the new super version is worth $450 at best. If they were priced accordingly, I'm willing to bet they would be flying off the shelves. The only reason the 4090 is doing so well is because its being bought in bulk for AI platforms. It's an anomaly.
ОтветитьYup - I'm not replacing my 8GB 2070S with a 12GB card. Gotta be 16GB+ for that price.
ОтветитьNice
ОтветитьBought a used rtx 3090 for $300 plus fsr3 frame gen mod, i can wait until 5000 gen
ОтветитьThe only Super card that seems worthwhile is the 4070 Ti Super. Even with better performance value, I assume the pricier cards will still be less desirable to the majority of buyers. The market is stabilizing a bit post-cryto/pandemic/AI gouging boom and I hope that all of the manufacturers level out
Ответитьonly reason I have to stick with nvidia is lack of compatibility with some of the software I use with AMD gpus, but I hope the tendency on the current market will change hopefully making them a viable option for me a couple of years down the line.
ОтветитьIn 2024 with cost of living and inflation people don't have the discretionary income they used to. Mining is over and few people are swapping out cards evey year. And I think everyone is WAY over the insane prices of these components.
ОтветитьThe 3070 became obsolete pretty quickly with 8gb....Kinda see the same thing happening to the 12gb cards
ОтветитьEven if the 4070 super doesn’t sell well it really won’t hurt Nvidia. We aren’t their primary customers, the AI bastards will make up for the low sales to gamers and then some.
ОтветитьHonest question here I recently had to return my 7800xt and was trying to decide between the 4070 super or wait a bit and see if I can get a 4070 below 500$ and just use my second hand 4060 till then. Do you believe the 4070 super is worth it?
ОтветитьSalad makes no sense. You burn electricity leaving you PC, especially under load, which is what it would be using salad. No way the rewards out weigh the money you'd burn in electricity costs.
I'm also not surprised these cards aren't selling. The economy is in bad shape and people are being frugal w/ their money. GPU's are still more expensive than they've ever been historically and people know this.
Is no one noticing the colour background changes for nvidia and amd
Ответить192bit memory bus on a 600 dollar card is a joke, 5070 better have 256bit and 16gb for 500 dollars or bust
ОтветитьWell ... At least the scalpers aren't making out.
ОтветитьJust checked 3 days later and overclockers STILL have that £578 Gainward in stock and newegg have the msi, pny and zotac at $599. What a disaster lol
me: listens to Tom in the background "and now a word from our sponsor" me instantly putting the video in the foreground to see the doggo
