I didn't vote for labour. I understand we have to cover the deficit which taxes are probably the only way to do it. But it's a bit worrying that they can access people's bank accounts- justified or not I think is an infringement of all of our freedoms. Also, why are large firms not taxed properly? Taxes from large firms can cover up to 25% of the deficit in 1 year but it's always the middle class that pays the most, we are neither on benefits nor benefiting from anything!

I think politician should be paid on there pRtys performance just like the hard working general public in broken brittain . I watched the response to the budget yesterday.. Who the frig does Stephen Flynn think he is pulling faces whenever the Reform MP speaks? If he doesn't like the political direction fair enough, but he should remember that some people do actually give a shit about the immigration issues in this country, the ballooning population that its causing, and the affect that its having on our infrastructure as well as the astronomical cost that is being paid by taxpayers. Stephen - if you want to open your house up and let them in, then go for it. Perhaps when you run out of room, the penny will drop? As for the budget itself, Labour have condemned us to more misery, less jobs, less growth, stagnated wages in the long term, loads more debt, interest temaing higher for longer, unproven carbon capture promises, these idiots are a complete 'king joke!
