This is a lovely video about Matt, who is an occupational therapist for KCC. This video tells his story about the work that he does and how rewarding it is to see people do things for themselves again with the support that people like Matt can offer.
But it also highlights how he still gets time for the important things in his life, and for him that is spending time with his family, picking his little boy up from school and enjoying the outdoors and beach combing with his son. The flexible working allows Matt to do that.
Being an occupational therapist is essential in helping people to be able to do things for themselves, whether that be because they are recovering from an operation or accident or that they have a disability and need home adaptations to help to move around.
