Does it rotate automatically?
All the photos and this video have it with the fat edge to the right, which seems incredible strange with everybody except the small % of left-handed people.
💯‼️
Ответить❤❤❤I want one of this 😮
ОтветитьGreat videos and channel however so many e-readers to choose among. What would you recommend if I simply wanna read e-books (allowing to borrow books from library, not only amazon store) and pdf with the possibility to basic editing like highlighting text and pictures: what would you go for? Thank you.
ОтветитьHi, thanks for the vidéo.
You said That r2 is good but not the Best about "paper feeling" when writing. According to you, which one is the best on the market?
I need color , this is 2023 not 1985
ОтветитьThank you for the video.
wanna ask, beside the feeling of writing. For the speed of writing, is that both are the same?
i got Elipsa 1 and remarkable 2.... thinking to buy Elipsa 2 to replace both of them.... any suggestion? Thank you
"we went into the board room"... you must be very important 🥳🎉
ОтветитьIt doesn't outclassed the remarkable. The remarkable is specifically designed to not have so many of the "features" u talked about. It's designed as a productivity/distraction free device. Based on the title, I assumed the writing experience was going to be amazing on the Kobo.
ОтветитьYou spent half of the video showing how the rm2 is better than the elipsa 2... the pen is better, the feel is better, etc. I think you lost me when you said the rm had to many features...
ОтветитьThe Remarkable can share it's screen which is a massive advantage especially for people like me who use it for online tutoring. In screen sharing you can write and highlight in colour. You didn't mention this feature at all, which is unfair on the Remarkable
ОтветитьIf you had the choice of the 2 devices in 2023 which one would you recommend? Just your opinion. I know from multiple reviews that the writing experience on the RM2 is better. However If I had to make a choice the Kobo is more open source which I value highly, RM2 is closed source you basically need their subscription.
ОтветитьThe “feel” seems like the selling point. Otherwise an iPad/SurfacePro would be better than Kobo
ОтветитьRe Elipsa pen. I understood it uses rhe Microsoft pen standard same as the Sage. I have four different pens that work with the Sage ranging from 30-100 US$. I imagine at this point its just as easy to get either type stylus.
ОтветитьI find it funny that all the reasons he listed as a downside for the remarkable are the exact reason people buy it. It's a paper tablet, for notes and reading. Paper doesn't glow or connect to the internet.
ОтветитьThe subscription model has brick so many of my devices over the years I'm fed up with it. Terms change, you move devices, it just gets insane. I wound up being nickel-and-dimed to death from Tiny subscriptions to a dozen devices and software. I've always been intrigued by the remarkable and didn't know about the subscription. End of the journey for me. I will never buy one
ОтветитьWhich remarkable 2 alternatives have an equal or better screen feel / writing experience?
ОтветитьWhat I do not like about the remarkable:
- Every custom template or mod you do is gone after every update.
- aliasing is pretty bad when you want to view your notes on the PC. It just looks ugly. And it does not matter which pen you use.
- precision is often off for me. Draw a line and then try to add another line 1 or ever 2 mm next to that first line. Often enough the line will be drawn on top of the first line or somewhere else. As if the screen magnetizes wrong or anything. This can be partially be fixed by laying the pen on the flat side on top of the screen and swiping it downwards but it's still annoying af if you need to get stuff down fast and be precise at the same time.
- the worst thing for me though is the fact that reMarkable does not allow reselling. So if you ever come to the conclusion (like me now after a year of using it) that you want to sell the device for whatever reason, the buyer does not have a change to get any warranty service or whatever through reMarkable. So they are basically screwing over the end customer. Which is a shame.
For me the rM is the most impractical device ever.
Hi, my biggest priority is the ability to easily read articles/pdf without having to look at a 'screen' anymore on my iPad/Mac/Phone as I work in tech and end up looking at screens essentially the entire day and it's disruptive at night. It would be nice to be able to write notes too but tbh I'd actually prioritise the ability to easily read/sync articles off my Mac or iPhone and save them for offline reading. Which of these two would you recommend for that scenario or are there any pure e-Ink ereaders out there that you would recommend. I'm not that price sensitive so really just looking for the overall best experience and would prioritise the ability to see colour over take notes as it's useful for reading graphs etc.
ОтветитьWhat about reading ebooks? Wich one is the best? Thanks
ОтветитьKobo sucks at note taking, you can’t even duplicate notes to simulate template functionality. Locked to using their kobo templates ONLY. Regret getting that kobo elipsa 2e. Should have gotten one of those boox devices, at least with those I can switch note taking apps.
ОтветитьShocked that remarkable even don't comes with a pen.
ОтветитьIf i need to open email then I better get a tablet or laptop. Less features but really well implemented is the key.
ОтветитьI would have liked to see how some of the editing features work. Like if you download a PDF and were proof reading and want to show changes or suggest on top of text how would it work? I have only seen Barne' and no le and did not like the fact it kept notes on another screen. For instance say you were reviewing a recipe cookbook. Some changes need to be made how would you do it on my both plate forms. That I would really like to see. Next question can you read books on both devices? How many steps to download a book. I understand there is a way to download ebooks just not sure if the steps for both devices. This information would have been much more valuable.
ОтветитьGreat video on why the remarkable totally outclasses the Kobo.
ОтветитьWho does have the best writing feel?
ОтветитьI can’t wait until Kobo has an Elipsa Colour.
That is when I’ll buy my first eReader. I was going to go for the Libra 2 then the Libra Color came out and I wanted that one, but then I started college and realized for marking up PDF textbooks I’ll need a larger screen than the Libra. So I’m being patient for the moment.
And remarkable has been off the table for me since the beginning, I won’t buy a device that needs a subscription, period.
The math equation is correct.
