How fun was this? I’m going to watch it again and make notes and possibly see if I have them already or order them! Thank you and I look forward to the next video

I have that box, and I really like the colors and the way they work. They also work well on a surface with a layer of gesso.

They can't be reactivated when they're dry correct maybe one could paint over them but not actually eliminate them

Your channel attracted me for the antique vibe of colors.
I went for the Tinted Graphitint 12 set.
My two small pan sets I do travel with💚
Derwent has great art material🖌️🎨🐾📚

I have a set of the Derwent Tinted Charcoal pencils and I love them! I've discovered that if one uses a lighter hand when drawing/mark making the colour becomes more evident in the mountain blue, peat, lavender and moss. I also have one called Elderberry which is a lovely blue.

I have the Derwent Tinted Charcoal paint palette set, and I enjoy them a lot. They’re wonderful for subtle, misty effects, giving a kind of aged, vintage look. I also like to pop the blocks out of the pans, dampen them and mark direct on the paper with the wet charcoal. Work fast, and it can then be smudged, scratched, or otherwise manipulated with a cloth, paper towel, brush, pencil or stylus. With all the tinted charcoals, apply them wet, and they are permanent. There’s no dusting off or additional smudging, and if not too thick, there will be little to no transfer even in a closed book, even without a sealant (I use casein, if I seal my paintings at all). It’s a very limited and muted palette, but I like that. Even with a single color, you can vary density and dilution and get a lot of variation.

Kelly! I cannot tell you how EXTREMELY HAPPY I was to find your videos...and immediately subscribed! Since I was young, I had a love for paper...the feeling of different textures, crinkle sound...always felt weird to describe to others. I feel understood and my soul is happy to find your page. Thank you!

Hey Kelly, maybe you should have titled this one "50 Shades of Grey"?? 😁😁

There's something about the tinted charcoal pans that just doesn't agree with me. I feel like I have to scrub a lot to get a decent amount of paint and I end up fearing for my brushes, lol. Love the pencils and blocks, though.

Thanks for treating us to three new videos this week, each one informative and inspirational! I adore the effects you get with these charcoal goodies but, like pastels, I really lack the confidence to use them as much as I’d like. Look forward to future videos to see them in action! 😊🥰❤️

Kelly, thank you for all these detailed and tried examples!! I love watching you work...and smudge. BTW, you never showed us the new pencil sharpener for these gems. Maybe you just wanted to wait 'til they each got a bit duller tip first! Glad your enjoying your new purchase and can't wait to see what you create with them. I'm guessing churches will be at the VERY TOP of your list! :)
