Starting now is such a dope saying in this show
ОтветитьWhen your super-ego has your id at gunpoint
ОтветитьHe wasn't begging for Albert's life, he was begging for his own life...
ОтветитьThe cinematography in this scene is incredible. It doesn't even look like it takes place on Earth.
ОтветитьJames was ok, but he got all floppy when mad and it gave me kermit the frog vibes
ОтветитьI love how Albert noticed that Barry didn’t turn into just a maniac with no emotions after he saw Barry screaming. He noticed that Barry didn’t turn into a killing machine that went after anybody. His mental breakdown was the thing that showed Albert how he’s still a human and he has to live with the fact that he is a murderer and isn’t a good person.
ОтветитьJust tell him, man. "I tried to get him out of the car. He just wouldn't listen. Then he said he wouldn't keep quiet, and instead go to the police and fuck everything up. That's why he had to go."
ОтветитьBarry is assassin. Is a maniac. He enjoy to kill, not deserve forgiveness. Is a coward. He is evil.
ОтветитьAlbert was the only one to give Barry a second chance
And he didn’t take it….
Tragic
Shows up for two scenes
Gives a great performance, gives us one of the best moments of the show
Never shows up again
i always kinda wondered why albert just walks out of frame and never appears again
ОтветитьThis was the hardest scene for me to watch in the whole show.
ОтветитьI love how the asian dude basically teleported
ОтветитьWasted potential that we never see him again after this.
ОтветитьTheres actual music in this scene. Practically no score exists besides one annoying "tense" theme in the entire final season. Also Albert is a walking plothole. He knows the truth and Gene still has to go down the way he did in the end? They really fucked the ending. Hader got full of himself. He will realize this in the years to come. First three seasons had so many collaborators. Last season was all Hader. And he botched the ending. Fuck whatever themes he wanted to express. The ending didnt work on a story level. What a waste.
ОтветитьI have never once seen a more accurate depiction.
When people say to me I'm always so happy how is that possible and I joke that I cry in the shower, no one knows... No one knows that this is what happens to me every day, they will never know the amount of effort and power it takes to smile.
Barry was such a pus-y...
Then again, His first kill was an unarmed goat farmer just minding his own business.
Man…
ОтветитьBarry was innocent. It was The Raven.
ОтветитьI really wish Albert would've came out in season 4. He would've CV leared everything out for everyone probably
ОтветитьI’m not gonna lie, this scene would’ve been better if after everything Albert tells Barry, and Barry breaking down and realizing he’s gonna die, if he had just shot Arnold in the back as he was walking away, it would’ve been way more impactful. It not like Arnold plays an integral part of the story after this, and Barry doesn’t change his ways or become a better guy by the end, so it would’ve just shown the audience that while yes, Barry does have feelings and emotions, and wishes he could be a good guy, there isn’t a line that he’s not willing to cross to protect himself and his future, even killing the man he has previously saved, who just let him go and told him he believes he’s a good person as he’s walking away to go back home to his little girl, it would’ve been better if none of that mattered to Barry as long as he got what he wanted, as he shows to be later in the series. it would’ve hit so much harder in my opinion.
ОтветитьThe scream is so primal. He's not evil, he's not pure, but he is so lost in the woods. And staring Albert in the face, this is the only only way he can respond.
ОтветитьAlbert is giving Barry the second chance Barry gave him.
ОтветитьBill Hader is as talented as the best contemporary actors but because he’s mostly know for his comedic performances he doesn’t get enough credit
ОтветитьI just did a rewatch of this show recently and idk why but it just clicked for me on said rewatch why Barry reacts the way he does here. The previous episode had the beach scene where Barry sees most of the people he’s killed, the sky makes a terrifying sound as it opens up with hundreds of people screaming, this is presumably the gates of hell. Barry says to Sally that he knows where he’s going after he dies and that he doesn’t want her to go there (hell). I believe that’s why Barry is so scared out of his mind when he thinks Albert is about to kill him, because he knows he’s going to hell. The first time I saw that scene I figured Barry was either faking it to manipulate Albert or he was at a mental breaking point. The more I think about it tho the more I’m convinced he was so terrified of what he’d seen on the beach that he couldn’t bare the thought of of going there.
Ответитьsome of the worst acting I have ever seen
Ответитьawesome scene
ОтветитьYes Barry is evil. He may have PTSD From Afghanistan. But that doesn’t excuse him from committing Murder it’s not gonna hold up in court he chose to be a criminal he chose to be a murderer. “he made his own bed”.
Ответитьwhata scene dude. hit me like i watched it for the first time again Jesus wow
ОтветитьThis is why you need to eat well and get plenty of sleep.
ОтветитьIt doesn't matter how long it's been since I first watched this scene...I don't know what it says about my human nature, but I can't watch this scene without looking away. We are good human beings who sometimes do evil acts. And we're caught in the middle of it, with a longing to be released. Starting. Now.
ОтветитьBill Hader has talked a lot about having an anxiety disorder, and you can tell because this is a perfect portrayal of a panic attack. He’s an insanely good actor.
ОтветитьThe acting is insane. The way you see Albert almost start to…pity Barry. But Barry saved his life. And Albert is returning the favor. But he wouldn’t have returned the favor again
ОтветитьThis the peak moment in barry
ОтветитьThat hole was way too big
ОтветитьI would have been fine if the show ended with this scene.
ОтветитьHe screams like a dementia patient trying to communicate they're in pain. Utterly gut wrenching and strangely pathetic at the same time.
I've never heard "oh god please don't kill me" so perfectly diluted into adrenaline filled screams
Albert: Stop Barry! this is your chance! Save Yourself!
ОтветитьBarry probably felt like he was being judged by an Angel.
ОтветитьFor the supporting roles in this series, the casting director got super lucky or is just really good at her job. Albert was home run of an unknown actor. And the actor who played Chris, who also crushed his role in Barry, was also in The Girl Next Door. He was a high school kid who would grow up to be a legendary adult film director. The Girl Next Door……worth a watch…..Timothy Olyphant is GREAT in that movie.
ОтветитьI get more out of these 4 minutes than I get out of some entire movies
ОтветитьS4 SPOILERS
The fact that this is Albert's final appearance in the show is an absolute war crime.
Albert is probably the most important person in Barry's life, and he isn't even mentioned.
I'm not saying he should have had a big role, but shit. One or two more scenes with Albert would have been fantastic.
this: masterpiece
the same situation in season 4 with a guy who WANTS to kill him: “oh poop.” gets murdered
This scene is breaking bad material right here, phenomenal acting!
ОтветитьComedic actors usually make dramatic roles soar, imo because i have heard that comedy is based on past suffering and moving through it, if thats the case, then no wonder we get performances like this. Barry is one of my favorite shows, right up there with breaking bad.
ОтветитьMasuka confronts Dexter wutdaheeeel
Ответитьand this a comedy show
