Hey Anna, long term subscriber, but I very rarely comment. I deleted all my social media in January and I feel like a new person. I'm no longer mindless scrolling or thinking "oh I can relate to all those ADHD symptoms." I feel more present with friends and family. Thanks for sharing your TV recs, I have more time for TV too 😂

The Mercantile in Spitalfields has le bon shoppe and they have an online store! But it’s great to pop in to if you’re in london anyways but can get them shipped from there and avoid the duties in future! Plus they have a pretty nice selection of options (I work in the space nk around the corner and literally cannot walk in and leave without avoiding getting a new pair of socks 😂)

Excited to find out about Le Bon Shoppe through this vlog. Have tried the inexpensive socks but am looking to upgrade my sock options and I love the variety of colors they offer!

Hi Anna, love that you are visiting York! I live here and it's beautiful. The Railway Museum is very good even if that's not your thing!

Our Space NK closed unfortunately but we've got a Fenwick and relatively well stocked Boots. The restaurant and bakery scene is outstanding though, I would recommend going to Bishy road and visiting the gorgeous independent bakery Flori, along with cool little independent greengrocers, delicatessens, gift shops. A few lovely brunch spots too.

In town, I would recommend going to Fossgate and Micklegate, again, amazing coffee shops and restaurants. Food recommendations include: Pizza - Cresci and Dough Eyed
Italian - Il Paradisio, Delrios
Thai: Old Siam
Polish: Blue Barbican
Tapas: Ambiente
Syrian: Bab Tooma
Fancy/fusion: Roots
Japanese/street food: Yuzi/Brew York
Curry/Nepalese: Taas
Brunch: Partisan, Robinsons, pig and pastry.

If you fancy a quiet stroll down the river go to New Walk/Millennium bridge, you can then loop through Rowentree Park to get to Bishy.

In town there is a cute little church and mini garden with lots of history is Holy Trinity Church, the little garden at Treasurers House is worth popping into.

I work in film and tv production as a coordinator and it is about 90% crying at a laptop and working 100 hour weeks hahaha.
