Will the face shield prevent water from entering

Looks real cool, real comfortable. That aside, the huge gap btw the shield and gasket blasts wind right to the eyes. Forget getting on the highway with this thing unless you wear sunglasses with a facial seal. Too bad my wife threw the shield protector away, or I would have sent it back, Anthony.
