Just am buying the old school Tatula SV TWS 103. They can't make better!
ОтветитьDude zero adjustment knob you ding dong that's why it's hard hahaha geez
ОтветитьWhy don’t you reel with left hand?!
ОтветитьZero adjuster tension knob “fail”.
ОтветитьMy first fish on the Tatula was a 12 pound striper. Reel is butter smooth and can handle big fish. I sold most of my shimanos for the new tatulas.
ОтветитьI have a 3 year old tatula 200, it's my frog reel and it has been through pure hell . It still feels like the first day I bought it. All I do is rinse the green slime out and spray it down with reel magic.
ОтветитьI like the fish catch!
ОтветитьRecently purchased my 24 tatula 100 hg and to be honest I’m not impressed with it. It’s my first Diawa baitcast reel. I have several diawa spinning reels. You have to adjust the tension knob a little bit even though it’s zero adjustment. If you don’t loosen it slightly good luck getting decent distance on your cast. It definitely will not be one of the first baitcast reel I pick up. My SLX DC XT’s and my KastKing MegaJaws Elite are my go to baitcasters. The MegaJaws elite casts like a dream. It really gets out there with very little effort.
ОтветитьGonna wait till they release the sv version hopefully next hear
ОтветитьYep, he was not supposed to touch the tension knob. Start with higher breaks and work your way lower to achieve more distance.
ОтветитьIs a 100 series baitcaster a good size for jigging lake Erie walleye? I'm not familiar with baitcasters at all. No plans to troll with it, just jig. Looking to pair with a medium/heavy graphite rod and using lead head jigs 1/2 oz to 1 oz. I have a Gander Mountain Vortex 100. It just looks kind of small to me. Thanks.
ОтветитьFish catchers to test real is good
ОтветитьWould this be a setup for someone going from spinning to baitcaster should get?
ОтветитьReally great review man! Nice to see that reel in action on a fish instead of some dude taking it apart for 45 minutes lol
Thank you
The spool tension knob is hard to turn because it’s a zero adjust. It’s meant to not be touched and used as it comes fyi
ОтветитьHow about daiwa change the recessed spool tension knob so it sticks out further so I can get my dam fingers on it easily
ОтветитьDude i got a 2024 tatula 100 back in december and its quickly become my favorite reel, i havent done any maintenence and fish all the time and its only gotten better
ОтветитьMan, you shouldn't have messed with the zero adjuster 🤦🏻♂️
ОтветитьGreat review. I love my Tatulas! I have the SV TWS reels and want more, lol!
ОтветитьFyi... new hybrid hunter colors for 2024... just ordered my Sexy Shad, citrus shad, tannic gill and phantom Perch. Can't wait to try them this week when they come in!
ОтветитьIt is a clone
ОтветитьLooks like a clone
Ответить😓Bro... please don't set the tension knob on a Daiwa reel like that. It's called zero adjustor for a reason.
Ответитьthats how i pronounce spatula
ОтветитьOnly reason I wouldn't give the looks a 10 is because I hate that they put "Tatula" on the top of the reel like that. Looks cheap. And if they're gonna do it, why upside down??
ОтветитьIs the frame size the same as the previous 100 with the red on the thumb bar?
ОтветитьGreat video. Enjoy hearing your thoughts. How do you retrieve you HH? I am still waiting fir my first on that thing. I appreciate what you do.
ОтветитьI’ve been a shimano fan for a few years and made the switch on 11 of my rods. I have a few lews for flipping but could give those up in a heart beat.
ОтветитьFYI I don’t think Daiwa wants you to adjust the spool tension knob. That’s why it’s hard to adjust. It should be set to where it needs to be from the factory.
ОтветитьThis is definitely much better than having someone do a macro closeup of every Millimeter of the reel while reading the marketing jargon. Heck, next time you should unbox it while standing at the pond.
P.S: cant believe how clear that pond is, I don't remember ever seeing that one so clear. Also love the coffee station you got going on back there
I’ve been a shimano fan for years, I got my first Diawa 2 years ago, I’m just saying I got rid of most of my shimanos. I still love shimano though, a good 200 size Curado, can’t beat it.
ОтветитьGreat video .. Nice reel .. My favorite is the Shimano DC SLX .. We need to hook up when I’m in town which is fairly often 👍🏼 Tight lines everybody 🎣
ОтветитьNice video I am in the market for my first baitcaster. I wasn't even thinking of Daiwa so nice video. I love my spinner reel I use it for everything and I fish small ponds mostly similar to yourself. I am unsure of what to get. Was thinking lew's Speed spool, Shimano slx or a kastking but now have this on my mind
ОтветитьKeep reviewing like you are doing it..
ОтветитьIs there a link to the lure you were using while testing out the reel?
