An excellent video, but one correction (if no one else has already mentioned it):

In the Ted Freeman accident, the goose actually impacted the canopy sending shards of the canopy into the engine, causing the flameout. One of its wings was found in the rear of the cockpit, its body and the rest of the busted canopy a couple of hundred feet away from the wreckage.

To me the Gemini space craft was like a”sexy” sports car. Like a Corvette in space.

It's just amazing how much more planning, diligence and intelligence these projects took in order to complete as safely as possible. Now compare this to the snakeoil spaceflight that SpaceX tries to do.

I know I am a little late to the game here as far as your "Homemade Documentaries"
So glad the algorithm placed in front of me something of this quality. I grew up in the Antelope Valley in southern California so aviation and cutting edge aviation runs in my blood. Both of my in-laws worked at Skunkworks there in Palmdale.. What I am getting at is these Documentaries are every bit as good as anything I've watched from Discovery, History, and PBS, if not better.
I know it's a lot of time and work but these are incredibly well done..

My friend HD, do a series like this for Apollo please!! Origins, failed entries etc!!!( Gus was Air Force all the way… lol)

It’s so good to see Colonel Grissom receive the credit he deserves in this documentary. The producers of the movie “The Right Stuff” should be ashamed of themselves for how they portrayed him. It was unfair to him and his family. One of the MANY reasons Hollywood sucks….

Excellent documentaries (I also viewed the Mercury chapters)! Very good videos editing, explanations of the topics are very clear. In particular, the narrator is very very good: his spoken tone and pace is very appreciated.
