BGS is a reduces stats based on the damage the buffed attack does, but primarily it reduced defense first and foremost (it cant reduce the others as well, but never used for that).

When you are boosting for amethyst mining, you should use prospectors with varrock plate and then fill in with prayer gear and use lightbearer and preserve. You should be able to never drop below 92 if you do that!

And last, no Dragon Pestle & Mortar, but there are antifire potions for the dragon related theme on your bank tabs

BGS spec lowers a targets defense by the hit splat good for high defence monsters and really good in toa or corp

Make sure when you are boosting with pickaxe spec you use preserve prayer to make it last longer. I did that for my amethyst.

Escaping pkers is still a massive rush to me bruv

The weird spin that the character does has something to do with red-x'ing the door or altar without actually finishing the action of interacting with it, I'm not sure how to reliably reproduce it, but I've seen it many times throughout the game... I guess we can chalk it up to jagex spaghetti code
