First of all - wow. brilliant stuff. I think it's nice to see you also flip the canvas to detect little fuckups. It gives me a lot of hope for the future :) And your English is just fine :) Better than most Americans :)

Thank you for this helpful tutorial. Just one question, does this o.p.a.b.t.s. organisation against protection of bad tutorial speech really exist? I dind't find it. And they are wrong. You sound French, but there are native speakers with a much more heavy accent. Please, go on publishing more tutorials like this.

Thank you very much for the brush set, its tools flow so well in my paintings. Beyond that this is a great video and has helped me learn quite a few ways to speed up comic making that I was not aware of before.

I hate hearing English with an accent, except for the French accent. I don't know why, but the French accent is the only one that doesn't hurt my ears :-)

Such a helpful tutorial! You're a lifesaver, David! I finally have a good webtoon idea in mind and working on it is pretty overwhelming to say the least, but tutorials like these really help find a good place to start.

Hi! Thank you so much for the video, it was super informative! Just one quick question - is there anything you have to do to open up the krita comic template you used? I downloaded the zip folder and opened it up in krita, and I saw all the layers were correct (frame, sketch, etc) but it's missing the vector separations.
I was wondering if there was something I had to do to make them visible?

I can't begin to tell you how informative and helpful your tutorials are. I realize this is an older tutorial with Krita 3 rather than 5, but so much of its content is still really helpful since it mostly talks about the principles and approaches that make for productive drawing with Krita. Thank you for everything!

Hi David
When drawing traditionally , you do the thumbnail of a comic page , then do you use lightbox / lightable to trace for final page ? Could please tell more about your process?

Thank you for this really informative tutorial. I have a comic/graphic novel idea that's been struggling to really get going and decided I needed to use a more fine-arts-oriented software than Adobe Illustrator in my attempts. So I discovered Krita recently, downloaded it and tried it to my satisfaction. This video was the first tutorial I watched. I really appreciate that you showed your process. It convinced me that your painterly method really is the way I should go. I tend to be too graphic and technical, and my subject matter needed to become softer and warmer than just vector lines and solid shapes. I have enough skill in fine art sketching to know I can do it more like your way. And Krita just seems like an answer to prayer, so I really admire what you've done and thank you for this inspirational presentation.

I'm Bangladeshi but I speak British English and can also speak Français. So as a non-native English speaker, I would like to say your English is great and it's natural. Honestly, I like this kind of accent. I'm a polyglot, so I myself sometimes mix up various accents by mistake, but it feels fun. So I think, you don't have to be sorry about your pronunciation. 😃
