Planning a build around the asrock arc b580 since it's the smaller of the b580's out there, coming in at 250mm I think it could make for a pretty tiny mitx 😅
ОтветитьWhat about me that built over hundreds of PCs
(I'm a computer technical Employee of a small IT that sells PC and Software)
Pff SFFPC's are the master race in the master race 😅
ОтветитьSome ITX cases are bigger than my first full ATX case 😂
ОтветитьOr you design and 3d print your own case using an micro ATX motherboard
ОтветитьITX builders are like that boring neighbor that insist on flexxing his prius for you.
ОтветитьWhat cables?
Ответитьhal says you cant go back
ОтветитьLess ram isnt a big deal. Most systems can only use 2 anyway.
ОтветитьDawg idk why yall saying it’s hard for my first build I made a month ago I just build an itx rig in the fractal terra with no issue at all
ОтветитьI always go with µATX, it's just the best compromise between MB size <==> build size and connectivity options.
I also always take care that the MB got at least two M.2 slots with at least PCIe 4.0 and two mechanical PCIe x16 slots with the primary running on full 16 lanes and the second one at least at 4 or better 8 lanes (8 is very rare) + at least one (or two) additional physical x1 slot(s) for additional NICs and/or whatnot. My fav mobo of the AM4/PCIe 4.0 age was/is the: ASRock X570M Pro4 - It was the ONLY µATX board for/in a long time that fulfilled the requirements mentioned above.
I built a meshilious water cooled build a couple of years ago. It just takes some time to plan your routing. It gets REALLY tight sometimes. but its visually attractive, and plays all the games I want to play silently.
Ответитьmy first build was an ITX and it loved it, {still runnig it now)looking to upgrade my gpu but finding not alot for sale, mine can fit all large GPUs Thermaltake tower 100 is the way to go with AIO ccooling, 32gb of ram and a beefy powersupply.
ОтветитьAnd I'm over here still using my old cooler Master HAF XB EVO
ОтветитьPC case does 80% of the job. I bought a first case. Horribly built and couldn't welcome the parts. I changed it for a Fractal and it was waaaaay better. However.... You don't want to reopen an ITX build. Cable management is so tight, there is no room for changing anything without tearing everything apart...
ОтветитьJust finished this vlog, might go rewatch the rest for nostalgia
ОтветитьPrecisely why I went with the thermaltake tower 200 for my first build and an ITX build. Good airflow, space for a full size GPU with adequate cooling, and lots of cable storage.
ОтветитьI definitely couldn't not care less for an ITX, they do look cool, however, I love a big case .
ОтветитьI have been buidling pc's since 2017 and have never held an atx mobo. ITX all the way cases have been Fractal Nano S, Lian Li TU-150, Loque Ghost S1 Mk3, Velka 3 and currenlty building in the Fractal Terra
ОтветитьYea the smaller the case the easier it is to steal
ОтветитьITX builds are one of the only times where I'll always recommend liquid metal and a copper IHS whenever possible. It's a good way to get experience using it (it's really not as difficult or dangerous as people say, just exercise caution), and chances are you actually will need the temp reduction. The higher the temps, the more help the increased conductivity will be.
ОтветитьI actually built an ITX setup for a friend since he had very limited space in his dorm. I know a laptop would fix this, but he wanted more power for gaming.
ОтветитьMe with my EATX build. 😆
ОтветитьSang
ОтветитьJust build sff 12 L case and performance was top notch, 9900x, 96gb, 9070xt. the only annoying thing left was noise, coming from nr200 and phanteks enthoo
ОтветитьItx in my opinion are work pc or for mobile gaming 😂
ОтветитьI made my First pc in a sff case
Yeah you Are Right cable Management is pain
OMG the first pc i could fit on my table! 😂 i just got my first gaming pc and it's an absolute monster, if i didn't have space on my tiny table before, then even less after actually seeing it in person 🙏
ОтветитьCould you do a mini itx watercooled just to show us you could?
ОтветитьBut I wanna do a small build because I have no space for a regular PC
ОтветитьMe who built hundreds of PCs at the corporative of a beauty supply company: 😂
ОтветитьOr, you could pull an optimum and say "yeah but... what if I did anyway?" And put a blocked 4090 in your ITX build.
ОтветитьOnly reason I'd build an ITX is for a HTPC/couch gaming
ОтветитьSome wanna build the smallest pc ever. I wanna get a server rack
ОтветитьATX is perfect and I will never build in any other formfactor (the only exception is mATX if I have a small desk)
ОтветитьMy first pc the I built in January is an itx build. I have today it was tons of fun while building. The case that I went with was the cooler master nr200p
ОтветитьThe first build i'll ever be building will be a 500 euro itx build. So far the parts that i've found are:
Ryzen 5 5600
Asrock b550m-itx
2060 Super
350w Silverstone Flex Psu Gold rated
2060 super
32gb ddr4 3200mhz RAM
500gb SSD (or 1tb im still working that out)
Thermalright Ultra Low profile cooler.
I should mention this is all in a TINY 4.3L black case and everything will be undervolted. (most of these are 2nd hand)
My first pc build was this gigabyte 5080 aero OC, Asus Thor 1200 watt psu, WD black 4 tb ssd with heat sink , Ryzen 9 9950X3D cpu, Corsair dominator 2x32gb ram, Corsair H170i liquid cooler, Alienware monitor AW3425DWM, MSI MEG X870E GODLIKE EATX mother board, Corsair rx120 icue link fans
ОтветитьHaving only 2 ram slots actually boosts performance it is a feature not a drawback if you actually know how to overclock
Ответитьmaybe the real ITX was the friends we made along the way
ОтветитьI thought about it. Don’t know if I want to
ОтветитьWho let bro go on yt looking so orange
ОтветитьHe is absolutely not wrong. My first bill with an ITX. It was actually kind of fun. It runs pretty good.😊
ОтветитьIm thinking about doing an itx build.. my first build was a pretty smaller end matx build.
ОтветитьI have an ITX penis. Not only small but also limits performance.
ОтветитьSpace saving on desk space, easier to move, and the ability to put it almost anywhere, are all great bonuses.
But the biggest thing about ITX is just... Elegance. It's compact and has no wasted space inside. Who doesn't love an elegantly built machine?
smaller size mini ATX is the way to go, they're only slightly bigger than most ITX cases, way cheaper, and way easier to build in
ОтветитьThis is what i realised after building my 1 and only pc. Mind you i have a mATX with 2 dimm slots for my first build. I bought 2 cases
Ответитьwell it's not like i use all the ram slots anyway
Ответитьis putting more ram in a dell vostro considered a pc build
Ответить
