Nothing made in America is cheap, and China already has autonomous submarines.
ОтветитьChina has more vessels because China counts everything as a military craft. The US Navy has more TONNAGE than China with it comes to naval vessels.
ОтветитьChina will build it too! So what now?
ОтветитьIt kills me with all this hearsay about the Russians in the Chinese being partners. They hate each other more than anything because their neighbors, literally neighbors. They ain’t got no choice, but to act like they’re together.
ОтветитьChinese or sinking in a swamp with landslides unstable land why do you think they’re so good at building sand dune Island in the middle of the sea?
ОтветитьCome on with the bullshit man tell the people the truth half of Chinese ships are reinforced fishing boats
ОтветитьIf you think China doesn’t already have a stack of drone subs, I have an eSub to sell you‼️😎
ОтветитьThis makes a lot of sense. However, we could build plenty of ships if the Navy didn't have to have the biggest, fastest and best. The Navy builds Ferrari's when we really need a whole bunch of F-150's.
ОтветитьThe Atlantic ocean Arctic Ocean and Mediterranean will also need a version of orca. If for no other reason to protect underwater cables.
ОтветитьONLY two days?
ОтветитьShould check the parts on the orca, probably made in china
ОтветитьThese drone submarines are cool. You can make them mimic sounds of a submarine to lure an enemy submarine into an ambush by a manned submarine just sitting and waiting.
ОтветитьThere's more than one category the US has massive advantage over China you neglected to mention. Carriers.
ОтветитьDoesn't Russia already have nuke powered drone subs already deployed?
ОтветитьI feel like submarines are the one field of tech that cant be expanded on as fast and as different as the others like ships and planes so if they are comparable in any metrics submarines are it.
ОтветитьWe just told China all about it, if real.
ОтветитьChina is watching this video as you speak, now they will be creating their own 🫡 thanks guy for giving out top u.s military secrets
ОтветитьFirst off Taiwan building a lot of factories here in the United States Arizona to be exact. I don’t know when this program was perch released, but they have a couple buildings going already in the United States so as for losing all that from Taiwan, that’s not gonna happen. Furthermore if I know anything, I know Taiwan, who would all their stuff out of Taiwan to the United States
ОтветитьNow, if this was WWII we would be able to knock out at least 5 of these a day (1 B-24 liberator was produced every 59 minutes; in a 24 hour production schedule). Liberty ships were being built so fast that it took less than a month to produce any single ship by the time they hit their stride. It would be nice to knock out 6-10 a month. Probably more like 1-2 month. America has lost the ability to produce anything enmasse.
Now we need to design an Orca tender, that can carry them in large numbers and launch them fast. Still think the use of armory ships is a brilliant idea. But like the Ari Force, it is not cool and they rather have big, expensive, and cool looking vessels.
If the Ukraine has proven anything...Ammunition (shells, bullets, rocket, missiles) needs to be put into mass production now so that there will be some available when it is needed. This goes for mines as well large production runs of mines would be needed to make the threat of them worth while. Usage of mines (8? per Orca(?)) would also need the use of large dedicated support ships to constantly rearm them with new mines.
In 2024 America built 7 brand new (read: expensive) ships and scrapped 13 older ones (including 6 of the old Ticonderoga class CGs).
America's submarines are the best in the world, but loss much of their advantages in the shallow, cramped, and dangerous waters of the east and southern china seas.
We need 100-200 of these, 5(?) at 55 million each, sounds like a poor plan for what is an expendable unit.
ok, lets admit. 2 days.. need to bring those numbers up.
ОтветитьWhy share this with OSINT? Deterrence? I think knot (pun intended). 🤔🤦♂🤷♂
ОтветитьThese seem to be made to throw away. Could work to float into a region at 3-8 knots and sit until weapons deployment. I'm sure it has enough power for several days.
ОтветитьOrcas do sometimes hunt other orcas. I hope that the Chinese wouldn't figure out how to control some of our Orcas and turn them against the U.S. --- ugh.
ОтветитьWe waited for China to spend all their money on ships, planes and missiles. Now that they have, we are moving to long range stealth bombers, hypersonic jets, and tons of drones(land, sea and air).
ОтветитьThe range seems to me to be a real liability.
ОтветитьConning tower or sail it IS NOT a fin I'm not even in the navy nor have I been and I still know that
ОтветитьThey need to create the kraken sea drone, that lays on the ocean floor deactivated untill summoned.
ОтветитьI highly doubt thnat chairman Xi Jinping will still be in charge of the CMC by 2027. Hell, it's highly improbable that China will exist as a unified industrial nation-state in 2027 in it's current form.
ОтветитьThe SSN-23 Jimmy Carter deplys these.
ОтветитьThe main problem with the Orca is it's made by Boeing.
ОтветитьIf only it wasn’t boeing
ОтветитьSounds like the US should focus on increasing ship building capacity, first thing.
ОтветитьQuality vs quantity.
ОтветитьNot good enough tech
ОтветитьSo what I hear is china has more future artificial reefs
Ответитьwhy do we want to deploy sea mines in other people's front yard? How would we feel if someone dropped a bunch of sea mines in gulf of mexico oh it's America? It will mean war at full scale..
ОтветитьCan it solve diabetes, obesity and measles?
ОтветитьHow can tRump deny Ukraine & protect Taiwan!? "Hey Taiwan...! Your on your own!"
ОтветитьSouth Korea can build ships more efficiently than then the U.S. because of our shipyards greedy practices. I would suggest a partnership. They supply the vessel and we supply the American technology. Win,win
ОтветитьTaiwan has never been under Chinese governance so it can’t go back.
ОтветитьAwesome 😊 !
ОтветитьAwesome totally awesome let’s build some more
ОтветитьUnless they are nuke powered, they are useless.
These are diesel-electric.
The biggest drone manufacturer in the world is DJI, a Chinese company. If their civilian drones are a threat to USA as their sanctions show you can imagine how advanced their military drones, which are classified, are. If their surface navy is bigger you can also imagine how big their classified drone fleet is. So stop bragging to encourage war.
ОтветитьI can't say how as it's "classified" but I promise that the US Navy knows when any Russian, Chinese or North Korean submarine leaves port and it can be tracked over the entire globe !!!
ОтветитьThis is not the only drone sub that the United States has contracts for, It's just one highlighted type of underwater drone.
ОтветитьA Drone Sub has one great advantage, it does NOT need to provide an oxygen rich environment for humans. The greatest challenge is how to operate it remotely.
ОтветитьThe outstanding amount of jokes in the comments section are hilarious.
ОтветитьYou’re assuming America has any allies left after trump is finished
