The video implies that NATO has anything such as THAAD that can intercept a hypersonic missile. It doesn't, and quite frankly it doesn't look like it will in the near future either.

I liken the US military industrial complex as part defense, part money laundering. There's a LOT of extra money spent to enrich defense companies. Unfortunately this has led to the west being many years behind hypersonic missile development. And let me state the obvious: if you don't have hypersonic missiles, you can't reasonably expect to intercept manoeverable incoming missiles. All the expensive missile defense technology such as the Patriot and THAAD is thoroughly ineffective.

Only one fact in this video. That the Oreshnik is not very accurate. Thats true. The rest is propaganda. The Oreshnik missile was built in the mid 1990-ties. They made 5-6 of them. Approximately 3 months ago Russia made a test launch of one to see if they still worked. It exploded on lifting. Destroying the launch pad. This caused some panik because they had to overhaul the rest of the missiles to avoid a similar incident. As usual the moneys originally allocated maintenance was diverted so now they may have 2-3 missiles operative. Its a ballistic missile so when detected on launching its trajectory can be calculated. A Patriot system can take it out if its discovered soon enough. Its designed to carry a nuclear warhead but this one was changed to carry cinetics. All of them missed the target by miles. Cinetics are very devastating but they need to hit very precise on the target. You can check for Yourselves via Google maps if the factory was hit. Putin had to make two pressconferences trying to convince people that the Oreshnik is new and ubeatable. Well... he said so about the Kinzhal and other systems.
