I'm hardcore identifying with this song. Everything I've done for the past six yesrs has been a desperate attempt to convince myself that i would somehow wind up getting back together with my ex girlfriend and I never even realized I was still holding onto her until a couple of weeks ago. Knowing now that it won't happen, that what we had was not special, is a tough pill to swallow. Knowing that we'll never sit down and have a proper talk about it hurts even more. But it's an important thing to come to grips with. Hot Mulligan, if you're reading this, thank you.
