The lore of the game is amazing but I’d like to add my opinion on bequeathing a key blade. Keyblade master is just a title that is granted to an apprentice keyblade wielder that’s gone through rigorous training and has taken the mark of mastery exemplifying the qualities of a master based on their attribute meaning either a wielder of the light or a wielder of darkness. Riku was the only one that was bequeathed a keyblade properly but I feel that opposite what you said about keyblades simply disappearing if someone one weak hearted touches it is incorrect. Keyblades follow the will of the master and only respond or can be summoned by them. There’s been multiple instances where someone who doesn’t own a keyblade have held one before but they only return to the wielder if they are called back or it’s simply just handed to them. The bequeathing there for is if someone determines that your heart is pure and strong enough to wield a keyblade and thus grants you the power to call your own keyblade. Sora’s keyblade was originally meant for Riku because he was determined to be a strong hearted person by Terra but riku fell to darkness of his own volition so the kingdom key (keyblade of the light realm) sought out the second strongest i.e sora.

Maybe, keychains are physical manafect of emotions, experiences or task to strengthen the Keyblade wielder's heart. The Oathkeeper is the promise Sora has with Kairi (KingdomHearts). Guardian Soul is obtain by defeating Hades (Kingdoms Hearts 2).

Can keyblades be passed down more than once? As in, could Terra have given both Sora and Riku a key blade?

I have always seen the Keyblades as something similar to the Zanpakuto from Bleach, especially in KH3.

"A keyblade can be used to thwart any barrier, partition or blockade in existence."

Sora's Mom: The condom broke.
Sora's Dad: Well, at least they'll be a keyblade wielder.

Wait sora really is the MoM, he pulled riku's kingdom key out. It matches his friendship with mickey and his KH1 color scheme ,we've known Kingdom key is his, but Sora has the ability to do what MoM can do because he is his own mom

Wait so you always just get new key chains? Maybe i just never noticed but i always thought you're getting the whole keyblade. That the keyblade itself is a complete thing and not just technically the chain.

Ive got a question in a theory about keyblades and the hearts if you added Yu-Gi-Oh couldn't the millennium key not be able to grant a keyblade even though in Yu-Gi-Oh its about souls and spirits couldnt the item still not unlock the heart to gain a keyblade?

Funny thing about the "inhumanly acrobatic and durable" part, that's technically both canon and not canon. As this game takes heavily from modern FF games it's the same story there, too.

Cloud and Sepheroth seemingly both have the power to glide through the air somehow under their own power and can slice buildings apart with their own swords, but in the game's reality if Cloud had to cross a huge gap or get to the top of a mountain he would either find a bridge or start climbing. He can't just fly, unless he's in a dramatic fight scene.
